This isn't having a go at EU as such, but I was just stunned by the matter of fact opening line of this RPS interview with Jake Solomon.
"RPS: XCOM launched rather buggy and there’re still a few hanging about. What happened there, and do you have a plan for how to iron all that stuff out?
Jake Solomon: Yeah, it did. I agree – it’s just a shame."
When I read it, it came across as a >shrug< "we needed to get it out. It's in a hell of a state, but hey, what can ya do?"
Exactly why would I ever buy anything with his name attached before at least a year had passed and the bugs were ironed out?
Yet another in a seemingly endless line of buggy games, that are released when they know full well there are issues.
