  1. yes i do know but i have lost some good soldiers that way when a dropship is attacked by UFO fighters that i haven't got to in time. what im saying is sometimes due to varying reasons (a closer dropship either being used or coming back from a mission with heavily wounded troops, i know i can re-task a ship) i have to use a dropship that if escorted by interceptors the interceptors run out of fuel and the whole squadron has to turn around. it would be good if you could choose to send the interceptors back, yes the dropship would be undefended but it is usually quite close to the dropsite so fairly unlikely to be attacked. If the whole squadron has to turn around by the time it gets back to base and i re send the dropship the crash site disappears. just one thing i dislike about the Valkyrie, you cant abort the mission without loosing troops. say you are on a terror mission and you are getting battered you can, with the other dropships, retreat to it and get out of there. i know the valkyrie drops pods but in the description it says the pods use thrusters to slow down near the end. well those thruster should be able to lift the thing off. Add to the description that the pods have a homing function, where the troop gets in a pod (not necessarily the one they got dropped in) and it speeds back to base where it crashes into the medbay with said battered troop.....ok maybe no the last bit, thats just my imagination.......

Sometimes when i send a dropship (Valkyrie) with interceptor (Marauder) cover the interceptors run out of fuel and the whole squadron has to turn about and head back to base. could you make an option for just the interceptors to head back I just imagine the interceptor pilots going CCCSHHHH Mama bird, this is Fledgling I am bingo on fuel CCCSHHHH CCCSHHHH Rodger that Fledgling head on home, we'll take it from here CCSHHH CCCSHHHH Affirmative Mama bird, Fledgling out.   4. Ok second bug post and hopefully this is better than my first which was more of an observation than anything. Right so I just load up a terror mission in Aus and all i can see is white. A few people, some translucent and some not. Some cover, some whole and some not. Ive checked the save on this one and it loads up with the bug [ATTACH]4965[/ATTACH] I minimized the game whilst writing this and when i went back to it the ground combat had gone back to normal. However, as i played out the mission, white blocks were appearing and then when i saw a wraith teleport it wasnt the normal blue animation it was just a big white block. i hope this doesnt affect the rest of my game As the mission goes on more and more white blocks appear to the point where i cant see where any cover is, It is unplayable. I am going to reload a previous save wtf.sav wtf.sav
  5. Ok so this is my first post so im sorry if its all over the place Im sending out interceptors to massive UFO's. i crash the first one so i send in the combat team. When the next interceptor reaches another UFO i engage it and the air combat loads up. a split second later before i am able to un-pause the combat the ground team dialog box appears and i thought ill deal with the UFO after so engage the crash site. when the ground combat loads up I find the air combat behind the ground combat. i can still move around and order my ground combat team to move about, i can also move to the very edge of the screen and see the whole air combat screen and press spacebar to un-pause the air combat (the un-pause sign disappears) but the air combat doesnt actually un-pause (aircraft dont move) and i cant click on anything. Music for both ground and air combat is playing. so its not affecting the gameplay of the combat, but i havent finished the mission so dont know what will happen when i complete it. ok so when i reloaded the save only the ground combat was there ill leave the post up anyway Spiderglitch.sav Spiderglitch.sav
