  1. well, i want to confirm the obvious, doors are working now, outdoors are totally blocked while indoors are free to move so aliens can reposition themselves...thanks for this :D, the oly thing i wish is if aliens could be cappable to interact outside doors, this would be lore-friendly and pretty logical (its not like an advanced alien vessel with an outstanding tecnology would have a "PUSH ME" button for humans xD...but i guess this is impossible to code tho :c)

  2. i mean, i followed your instructions in your pm, and the fifth step was to download it...if you say its damaged or something....oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhh........wait a minute i think i figured it out, in your screens, you have both folders separated , but i take the "MERGE EVERYTHING way too literal"...so i merded the "part 2" into the main folder ...sorry my , my fault xD

    about the researches, then i should desactivate xce research mod, right?? (im working right now so when i arrive home imma check it).

    Okay but a really silly question...what log should i look? and well imma check the googledrive and download the researches in the alpha release 2, part 2 folder again.

    also talking again about doors, yesterday i forgot to mentions that the real buggy thing is that i can throw stuff inside the ufo. I can toss a grenade inside the ufo (tresspasing the door), i could easily "spam-nade" the interior of the ufo without problems because aliens are unable to do something......again i followed your instructions but there is the possibility i messed up somewhere and im having bugs because of this... 

  4. hi pal, i started playing recently and i have a few issues to report: (i followed all your instructions, so i hope i do it right)          playing in insane**

    -First of all idk if is WAI or is a bug, but any door in the ufo's seems to work correctly, i cant open it and at first i though it could be a really cool feature, so i bring a "sapper" guy with me and demolished the door with c4....then noticed that i could destroy it with a simple grenade too...then discovered this happened also with internal doors..THEN i noticed that because doors are perma-closed, all enemies inside the ufo are trapped so i have to just sweep the few guys outside the ufo (mostly three or four ) and then shoot the sitting ducks trapped inside the ufo, the two things i dislike most is the fact that:

    a)aliens doesnt pop up and punish me for moving my troops to close to the ufo.
    b) because of a) i can take all the turns i want to position my guys exactly where i want pretty safely.

    - Playing in insane feels kind of bland because of this, i had only like...5, maybe 6 k.i.a over 8 missions, and mostly because my own stupidity.

    -Aside that, everything feels good, i dont think i have found an empty research window(an completely empty pop up leading anywhere i mean) , or a single CTD (hooray for this :D!, its pretty stable, congrats) , i just spend a few hours playing so maybe my report its lacking a bit of bulk...so i just nitpick stuff from the xenopedia , and because of this i found a few typos,some of them can be guessed by the fact the xenopedia is a ongoing work:

    a)the AWACS page have a quote&borrowed&quote typo. 
    b)ballistics rifle have a repeated "enough enough" in their description.
    c)basic armor picture appears to be the old model, not the new (and cooler) one.
    d)i made the hunter, but not the foxtroot research (it is not aviable..so the "alien invasion" page states wrong the final part...this could lead to misunderstandings)
    e)speaking of the hunter...it doesnt have a xenopedia description (i only have the word "description" and thats it), the same with some ufos, completely understable.
    f) relationshipbnous typo error in the crash ufo description
    g)there is a viper turret page,but there is not a 50.cal page for the hunter (iirc there was a picture of the page in the xenopedia folder).
    h)i guess the armor orders are swapped because i got wolf armor in one moth (by oct-9) but there is not any news about jackals or foxes :p. 
    i) alenium explosive have a couple of ...errr...gibberish? (sorry i forgot the word), nonsense with quotes and #$ simbols (i dont remember how to quote editing with note+++, so i could fix this easily so you could focus in more importan stuff)
    j) allenium warheads are empty , but there is one page talking about torpedos (also this opens a research just called GRENADE wich result in something like the chemical page but with purple tanks)

    (I think research should take a bit longer because i already got allenium explosive and wolf armor in less than 2 months)

    ps how it was i activate the debug mode so i have all research aviable?, (sorry..i dont remember if it was this game or with  OPENXCOM xDDD)

  5. yes, i just find the top of the iceberg :p , btw, its just my opinion, but i found ranks "not fitting" quite well with some races, for example, a caesan chieftain sound very "orchish" in my opinion, and that kind of titles should be used with some more primal foes like the sebilians (and the sebilians doesnt have "TITLES" akin to their abilities, but that just my opinion tho :p)

  6. fine then, i downloaded the ALPHA RELEASE (weights 3,98 IIRC), applied the x99 part two folder, is there any cummulative patch or something to upgrade this into more recent build?, something like hotfixes or something . i cant play with that version because i cant equip  basic rocket launchers for example(its missing in the equip tab, but there it is the rocket ammo so i dont know if its is WAI, also a little question, isnt the flamethrower aviable since the beggining?).

  7. whats up compadre, yes, i kind of returned xD, a lot of stuff happened in RL..including my country who is going fubar ....and i broke my arm (and i have a really silly CHEST HAIRED MANLY pink cast in my hand)..soo im coming home, i heard the news of the new XENO 2, and found all the changes you made all the time i was MIA (wow, it seems a lot of stuff, im really impressed and proud of what you did, congratulations for the sick job bro :))

  8. chris i have only a wish....please make the soldier sprite look more like soldiers T-T!!!!...add more bandoliers, pouches, harness, accesoriess and stuff like that, one thing i always kind of dislike from X1 is the "plain-ish" uniform our soldiers have, they look more like stylish 007's grunts/henchmen and less like battle ready veteran warriors ready to fight :<....aside that i am really interested in the project and i wish you the best and i have to say im dying to see the game finished >:D!

  9. hi fellas, im interested in playing the mod, but i went in a very long hiatus, its too much to ask if you can show me where is the lastest file i should play?
    my internet its PRETTY CRAPPY so d'wing 4gb of files is something like 10 hours or for my net...so it would be a total pain if i download something just to find there is something sooner in a file different for the one in the main page, thanks for your help :) .

  10. hi ilunak, nice improvements since the last time i was here, but i got a small problem bro, if i click on those "up" and "down" buttons on the equipment screen wich i think is used to order the soldiers in the craft, after i click anyone of those, the game kind of freeze, i mean, the game keep running but im unable to click on any element of the screen with a result (the minibar of screens for example), i am able to log out into the map scren by pressing escape a few times, and is funny because my click still interacts with the game (if i mouse over a region, then it highlights it border, but im unable to do anything), and the only thing i can do is wait until the game ctd and give me a error, am i doing something wrong?, im pretty sure i followed all your instructions...

    anyone had this problem before?, or is just me?, the other stuff seems to runs smoothly (ground combats,research, etc).

    ps: hi there dragues, how is everything going pal, i have to say xdivision looks pretty sick, im already downloading it :D

  11. i would love to see some kind of "explosive" uni (like the POPPER in the good ol' xcom apocalypse), just imagine your soldiers in a intense firefight, focusing on a pesky couple of sebilians who refuse to die and still regerates themselves even if your soldiers fanatically shoot them, but quickly some of your guys see something running swiftly towards them, "A BOOMER!!!!" every guy hear the feared warcry naming a new danger in their area, so now they have to split their efforts and try to mow down this small and zealoth enemy...but no matter what it success to aproach enough to detonate itself and wipe out your soldiers with him :D.

    i dont know the aproach you could take designing this ..but i think it could be a interesant add-on having a kamikaze unit between the alien foes.

    On a side note, i think enemies having a small drone pairing their abilities is a good idea, everyone loves having a cute mechanical pet helping them slaughterim theirs enemy and conquer the world :D!......i would love having german sheperds (or even small corgis xD) helping your soldiers too...

  12. imma post my idea quickly before i forgot it, i readed somewhere that the main premise of xenonauts/xcom combats is ASIMETRY war right?, so making a deathmacht kind of battle between GI's vs Aliens is quite boring and repetitive...but, what IF you make multiplayer being fought between humans...i mean NATO FORCES vs SOVIETS FORCES?.

    something like 10vs10 soldiers battles, between forces with the same techie level, but with a diferent "personality":

    NATO lighter but faster troops, with slower but maybe more acurate m16 rifles and stuff, while soviets use a more bulky steamroller tactic with heavier soldiers..high rate ak's and stuff..

    then the game use a MMR system where you level up, and then you "unlock" different techies, like a small tree upgrade, every faction having diferent niches, diferent strategies...and diferent point of views, for example...NATO forces like surgical high precision strike power, so they invest all their power in laser...but the soviets at a counterpart of them, choose a crude , but more devastating and higly dangerous(...even for themselves) plasma tecnology?

    (this sound a little bit like the good old Comand and Conquer Red alert where aliens got chronoshift good guy greg delicate with nice touch tecnology vs tesla "nuke everythin and set the world in flames" bulky and crude but eficient aproach from soviets)

    set the multiplayer as a "dystopic timeline", something like, alien invasion never happened so the power struggles between themselves, or the xenonauts project failed and the defcon states gets too high and a world war erupted between both factions, so there is a three side war struggle :

    NATOvsSOVIETSvsALIENS. but instead of focus in their war against alien invasion, they split forces and also fight each other, and you are one of the generals asigned to the "human front", so instead of fighting aliens..you and your division/regiment/company/batallion/whatever are asigned to focus on THAT war(wich explains why you are fighting humans instead of aliens).

    you could maybe just skip all the "leveling up ranked crap" and just focus in blatant deatchmatch battles, with a "tecnology slider" where you can choose LEVELS, something like:

    1.bullets crappy 80 tech

    2.more advanced tech

    3.pew pew die die futuristic japanese robotic godlike tecnology?

    ....aside that i would totally enjoy a HOT SEAT mode, where i can fight with my brother where both turns happens in my computer, but everytime i have to move he has to get out of the room, i know this sound crappy but we both would enjoy so much this mode that i wouldnt ever see the light of sun again.

  13. look i just found it to be too slow to use for anything other than escorting my charlie.

    also i cant seem to mount the light or normal vehicle turrets on either the hunter or seeker. is this intended or a bug?

    and yes i hate the Harridian Sniper

    Just kidding :P..actually i found awacs usefull for a very specific niche and after second or third month i already have a second base so i sell it to get an extra interceptor slot :).

    What do you mean with light or normal turrets?.

    And yes harridans are the terror of every player post landing ship xD.

    This is the most advanced weapon humanity have:

    A bunch of bad humoured,short tempered animals carefully selected from the more badass chikens raised from kakariko village.

    **zelda's fans will know xD.**

    Having animals "alive" seems like a lot of work, but i agree with skitso idea, dead bodies would fit better :D, it would add a more blodier and gritter atmosphere to GC >=D....aside the fact it would fit with the popular folklore about gray people from mars mutilating cattle :).

  15. beautifull work there dragues, i found the new scimitar tank sexy ;), ok jokes aside xD...idk if i said this before but, i feel the tiger is like a more heavier version of the hunter but still ligther than a scimitar, so IMHO i feel scimitar fits better in the role of heavy armor and heavy cannon tank(specially cuz it use allien alloys). While tiger is more a fast and lighter version of an "standar" tank(russian t55 and american M60...i mean im pretty sure that is a M551 sheridan LIGHT tank).. but is just my idea :P. Nice work there buddy.
