  1. thats what i assumed too, but my soldier being alive and kicking at the end of the mission is not something i dreamed about. i checked it twice after the mission, reloaded the savegame, but he is still part of my team. got a crimson heart for it ^^.

    maybe a bug?

    on a side note, are zombies supposed to spawn reapers even when they get killed in the same turn? i only played the firaxis xcom and nearly got screwed by that...

    When I first encountered the reapers and one of my soldiers got zombified I hit him with a rocket because I didn't know what he was and that didn't kill him just released the reaper inside him. I didn't know anything about reapers at the time and it freaked me out!

  2. If I see the bleeding icon I use the medkit and it stops the bleeding and draining of health points. Also if they get hit and are not bleeding but their health points are way down I heal them so they can continue the mission without getting killed with another shot. I know a lot of people play and if their soldier gets hit they just go on but I have been playing a while now and I still have almost all the soldiers from my original team and their points are extremely high in every category and they are a great team to send in on difficult missions since all their points are so high. Even psionics on them hardly effect them unless they are hit two or three times in a row.

  3. I have built 5 bases but only 1 of them have soldiers. Today I started adding soldiers to the other bases and I CTD. I did add the mods for the Real Fighter Portrait Pack and the Extended Background and one for the real looking armour.

    Is anyone else having an issue?

  4. I have run all these files through a program to compare them for differences. There are very few. What causes it to pick the faces. I've looked and looked through the code and don't really see why it wouldn't work when merged. Someone posted that it still only uses a few of the faces but where is that controlled?

I will ask again: Xtended Background mod and Jsleezy's Real Fighter Portrait Pack mod, are perfect feet for each other there is anyone that can merge soldernames files so we will have xtended backround plus much more faces for the solders and actualy game will be drawing them from all pool of faces not only 40.

    I actually am using both but just used the extended version along with the new faces and it seems to be working ok but it would be great if they worked together on this and merged them.

  6. No, Lore+ items are not retrospective.

    HOWEVER.

    Lore+ is dependant on very common items - corpses and datacores. You will loose out on UFO mission types as time progresses, because new UFO types replace old UFO types. However alien corpses are very common, and provided you kill:

    A Sebillian and Caesan noncom.

    A Sebillian and Caesan guard

    A Psion

    An Andron guard

    One of anything else (one Wraith of any class, one Andron of any other class, one Sebillian of any other class etc.)

    You will get all the Alien Class Analysis entries.

    If you tell me how far in the game you've got, what I'll do is make a special "Press Start To Continue" Lore+ which will pick up from where you started. It shouldn't take too long (but I am not in front of my home computer, so you will have to wait until I get there).

    You say above to tell you how far I've gotten and you will make a "Press Start to Continue" Lore+? That would be great if you would. I know you wrote this to cybrbeast but I would like it also. I'm at December 30th 1979. Thanks if you can do it!
