I'm having the same problem and re-verifying has not worked. It starts happening around december of the first year. A map will load up with a bunch of white boxes. Alt-tabbing fixes the boxes sometimes but going it the inventory or quiting the game causes a CTD. Loading it back up after restarting the game gives a normal map but inventory and quiting still cause CTD after a few turns.
