This is MYZ reskin basically. All locations are pre-made, no random maps. Walls and floors are destructible.

I loved to destroy foundations of buildings with explosives in x-com apocalypse, then watching whole 5 stories building collapse, crushing 10-15 aliens inside. That was epic, i was packing two team members full of explosives for that purpose.

Loss on turn 3 is a bit silly, guess this is why that other xcom game was forcing aliens to miss all the shots on civilians after two were already killed on the current turn

I think it is more of an ester egg kind of thing, this was happening in the original "Xcom: Ufo Defence" game, back from 1994. Enemy movement in the fog of war was hidden behind additional screen, as not to give out their positions, and shots came off screen much the same way.

There is no mega malware install, simply download it through your browser.
I would love to, but this mega only offers to either instaill their browser plugin or install their download manager, there is no option to simply download the file.

It's a fringe case we hadn't considered, but I think it's OK left as it is. A berserk soldier probably wouldn't be feeling very suppressed
Yet mind controlled soldier feeling suppressed alright, kind of inconsistent.

Not sure if intended or bug, but suppressed soldier can still go berserk with high tu shot that he otherwise would not be able to use. Noticed mostly on machine-gun and likes with only 80% tu shots mode available and supressed solder still going berserk and firing.

Now my MAG sniper has 3 aim levels, with last one being 0% accurate. Is it also because of modular weapons.xml?

After installing hotfix i have "#############" instead of all strings in game. Is something wrong with strings.xml? It seems there is only about 500 records there, shouldn't it be more like 5000?

For me this was also the case, I had XNT + Kabills map pack, added 0.26ce exe on top and got lockups on any kind of props destruction by explosives

XNT is the best, and if you don't agree with difficulty you can change it to be the way you think is fair.

It is normal, the mod is supposed to be mega-hard and new players are dead-born, or i did something wrong ?
You just have to use cautious tactics to win first encounters, afterwards games becomes much easier.
Equip flamers, shields, as much grenades as possible. Blow up walls and cover, keep your men together, concentrate fire, skip turns waiting for reaction fire, advance slowly and only trough defensible positions, DON'T move your snipers\machine-guns before shooting, they loose too much accuracy if moved this turn. Oh, and get a hunter tank fast to draw enemy fire.

Hi, i already have researched advanced MAGs but I still have no advanced lasers, only basic ones available, so base defenses and aircraft weapons not upgrading. What did I do wrong, what is missing for advanced lasers?
Looks like this tech depends on basic lasers tech and heavy vortex projector, both are researched, but i still don't have an option to research advanced lasers

Try playing on easy, it is not so punishing.

No eta on new exe.This time we are going to wait until it is safe to update to CE 0.26 .There are two reasons:
1.It's release candidate
2.I don't see any significant change and urge to port XNT:ID right this moment to CE0.26
Download 1.09 if you want soldier equipment screen and if you experience ctd when something explode it's problem with your game and not our mod.
Indeed it is a problem with vanilla 1.08 - soldier equip screen suddenly unavailable. CE0.25 also affected. CE0.26 is a fix for this bug.
But I play with your mod, i like it very much, but lack of update makes it unplayable.

Exe file fixed my soldier equip screen but now application hangs whenever explosion is about to happen in tactical combat(grenade, rocket, car).

Do we have an eta on new exe that both fixes soldier equip screen and doesn't crash on explosions in tactical combat?

Tried to use exe from Community Edition 0.26 Release Candidate 1 - save loaded ok, equip screen bug is gone, but in tactical combat any explosion makes the game hang. Any suggestions?

Edit:I think I might know what problem is.You most likely played game with outdated X:CE exe.
Edit:Ok I have tried multiple X:CE exe files and ways to load your saves and game kept crashing.So I have no idea what problem is.
Can you tell me how far you advanced in game,what did you do before applying last hot fix which cause CTD ?
Yes, this seems to be the case, I was running 5.3 with stuck aircraft return exe fix from CE thread. And now I have 5.3.1
Tough luck I guess, time to start a new game.
