  1. I did a bit of digging into the game files and the xenopedia and noticed things like "Particle Cannon", "Colossus" armor, and "Saracen" an interceptor along with nanite workshops.

    I believe the Particle Cannon is the singularity cannon and I'm wondering if the other unused items will appear in the final product.

  2. I don't know if the hotfix will mess with your saves, tbh. We're making quite a lot of bugfixes in the code so the only way we'll be able to find out is when we release it. I'm hoping not though.

    One way to get the desired effect is to open up aiprops.xml in /assets/ and set Caesan Leaders to have psionic power of 150, and Praetor Commanders to have 200. That'll make them a bit less OP than with 600 psionic strength.

    How do I do that, it doesn't let me change anything?

  3. Ah, yeah. The psionic strength of aliens needs to be balanced. GJ turned it right up to 600 across the board when we were testing the psionics and we never put it back down again.

    I'll fix that for the hotfix so the alien psionic powers don't just automatically succeed.

    Will the hotfix mess with my saves or is it just going to alter something minor?

    Also, is there a way to defend against psi? Or at least can your soldiers build up a resistance?

  4. How is anyone supposed to be able to complete this mission in the latest build?

    There are 3 mind controlling aliens one of which has the ability to inspire dread which automatically cuts your TU's by 25 percent automatically. Is there something I'm missing? How do I get an effective defense going for psionics?

  5. I am new to the forums but I would like to throw my two cents.

    Reapers are stupidly overpowered I don't care what XCOM purists say one of the best things about EU was that getting hit by a Chryssalid wasn't a one hit K.O. I find it utterly silly that a soldier wearing power armor or heck Sentinel armor (since it's full body armor) can get one shot killed by a reaper. People wearing Predator armor should be outright immune, with Sentinel armor there should be only a small (10%) chance and for Wolf it should be anywhere between 25 and 50 percent due to the alien alloy plating. Maybe with higher chance to get zombified as the armor degrades from enemy fire.

    Also, what's with these unimplemented things like Colossus armor, Particle cannon, and the Saracen aircraft?

    What the values of chemical about: were you planning on having acid spit as a secondary reaper attack or something?

    One thing that would be nice is if the timer went to the lowest setting when a U.F.O. was intercepted it is infuriating to have to click the 5-second button and it's worse when another U.F.O. gets intercepted and you have to start the race to the 5 second button.

    Having a single button to rally all soldiers to a specific area instead of doing a click, scroll, click 8, 12, 16 times.

    Why can't you sell corpses? Given the implants and subdermal armor I figure you could get a modest sum for each one of a specific type.

    Any plans for a sequel that takes place in the Deep or an Apocalyptic adventure if this pans out?

  6. I'm a bit miffed that my ten hours in 21v.6 are gone but I'm also glad as some much needed improvements to things like panic have happened. Now I'm wondering if I should just wait for the finished product. What's going on with Collossus armor and the Saracen? Are they in there?

    Do you mean "torpedo" by any chance or are you making a fifth tier of weaponry. I can kinda see it, after so long the Preators at the homeworld/most advanced colony get frustrated and send all their big, new, and most expensive toys to the assault on Earth because they feel the Xenonauts are humiliating them.
