[[v20e1] Game crashes when equipping soldiers, perhaps related to strength changes?]

The game crashes to desktop sometimes when I equip a soldier, or switch between a soldier and another soldier. It seems to be happen alot more often when soldiers are above their normal maximum carrying capacity (which can happen from equipping a heavier armor, or from picking a default loadout that requires more strength than the soldier has).

[What weapons do you take on a mission?]

Most common composition for me is:

3-4 snipers

1-2 machinegun

1-2 rocket

1 assault rifle

1 expendable rookie holding a shield whose job is to spot aliens and draw reaction fire

When I swap my gun out for a medkit everything works fine... right up until I try to switch back to the gun. Then I can't re-equip the gun for the rest of the mission, and my soldier has to use a grenade or something instead.

I think it disappeared. There was no shadow, and I didn't see it again. The wall was well within the map.

You can workaround this by rotating your soldier, at least. Moving inside the UFO tends to trigger lots of reaction fire.

I'm having a similar bug as well.

I can't figure out how to replicate this, but once on a farm tileset mission, a sibellian walked up to a wall and just vanished. I'm not sure if it actually disappeared, or somehow walked through the wall.

I can't figure out how to start new research projects. It looks like part of the UI for the science screen is cut off on the bottom and there should be buttons there. Is this a bug or am I just missing something incredibly obvious?

If I have two labs, I have to have 29 scientists, rather than 30, in order to start a project. If I have one lab, I have to have 14 scientists, rather than 15, in order to start a project.
