But is that normal that X-Pedia didnt show the new stuffs details ? such as the AWACS, new weapons .....[ATTACH=CONFIG]6751[/ATTACH][ATTACH=CONFIG]6752[/ATTACH]
I don't think he added entries for the new weapons in the Xeno-Pedia...

Just kidding i get what you're saying...The Basic thing in base defence if you have more then 16 soldiers is just to have them all equiped with better armor(if I am not wrong they implemented a assign equipment screen when the aliens reach the base so you're Legendary soldier doesn't carry a M16 against Androns)

Simple.I seem to be either really blind or the button to put privates in the 10 day training course is just missing or it did not make it in the final release.Also when i click on manage soldiers it does nothing(even with soldiers selected)

Hello peeps.For any that remember me,a while back i was one of the more major guys in modding.I played and fiddled around with v18 until i made it to my licking.Balanced the prices myself and everything,Added a new weapon(The Ak)and more stuff.Now the game has changed quite alot(i've played build 21 to some extent)and now that the game has been released I want to ask 1 question.Is the modding still the same?And if it is can some of the old dogs on this forum that still recognize me explain to me how to add stuff(I'm Particulary interested in the ak-47 again,and to be honest such long time since i messed around with the game files,I forgot all of it)

Well...Booted up the game and already see alot of changes to the U.I...Nice to finally see this new spiffy U.I in place:DI agree the old one was kinda bland...

So...Way back when I tried the game I did multiple playthroughs of My modified v18 build(yes I edited prices and balanced costs)...But after a while i felt acomplished reaching the end game stuff multiple times.Since then I haven't checked the forum to much...So I am here to ask you guys what's new and what happend while I was gone?

Usually when you do a Base Defense mission there will be some pods (2 on each face of the base,bottom and top of the base).That's where the Aliens are gonna spawn...And unless you are dealing with Wraith(The annoying teleporty ones) you should concentrate your forces on those spawn pods.

My 2 cents on this is...
Leave them be.I agree that the promotion system is way to fast but...It's a simple fix from what is seems...Just make the promotion levels harder to get (increase necessary points)

1.Did you try the intercept button?
2.You can just click a 87% or any kind of fuel level plane and send it out
3.New map is much better...I assure you...they won't change it.
4.There are known crashes to desktop from air combat.
5.I don't really know what you are talking about on this one...

Overall...I think it's a good mechanic...I mean after all it's just being used so that after 3 lost air battles the game wouldn't be over.

Well...after all the v.19 builds are there for balancing cost prices,times and geoscapes...We will just have to see how it goes...

I'm from Romania.So I'm from Eastern Europe.I i'm not mad by the fact that the map is still W.I.P and it's gonna be worked on...I mean damn...Not even Bucharest is on the map...And it's the capital of my Country...

aaa...Put a soldier and every room of the base and you might get lucky he will teleport into that room...I don't know...From what I've seen in alien base(didn't get any of them in my bases) they teleport out of line of sight...Don't quote me on that...I don't know if it's true...I just saw a couple of Wraiths appear in the room when my guy was turned around...
