I have been playing the steam version and loaded in my auto-save from yesterday. I then tried to replicate the wall bug, but it didn't seem to happen.

Pretty sure it'll be sold in the Early Access section, which has "NOT FINISHED" labels all over the storefront. (says so in the OP, too.)
Also n:thing the inability to claim a badge, the button has HTML code in it and clicking it regardless throws out a 403-error.
Not really clued up on this stuff, but have you tried a different browser?

As long as the steam build has (beta build) labels slapped all over it, things should go okay. Beta builds sold of as release's really piss steam users off.
I wish Chris and his team all the luck in the world, they have earned it.

On the wall issue. One unit was next to the wall (at the edge looking around).
The unit that the alien killed was hidden behind the wall but was not on a adjacent square.
Sounds like one unit next to the wall could make the wall transparent.

Great build. The game-play has a really nice feel to it.
Haven't found anything else that has not already been reported.
The suspect wall in question is the high, grey cement, type wall.
Gorra go play some more.

Or not. Moonie, a screenshot or the like would be helpful because it may well be that the prop has been mis-set but without knowing what wall it is we can't check.

I don't know if it helps, but the alien demolished the parts of the wall as he shot through them. It's not like they were transparent.

Alien spotted. I had to travel 5 extra squares before I could actually see him. He was behind a sign that was behind a wall, there was no way that I should have spotted him.
The alien then went on to shoot my men through the wall, my men that he could not possibly see.
Sorry, but sight range and LOS is broken.

We really need to get it on Steam so that the team can fiddle about with it at their leisure. Easy updates without all of the pain.
As far as having a few things not quite ready, well, every game on steam starts out like this, most receiving a first day patch, followed by a shed full more.

Yeah, it looks like there is only a few small bugs and a bit of tweaking left for it to be fit for Steam. Very close now.
Whatever you do Chris don't go and break it again.

[18.51] Looking good. Only one bug so far, and that's when a alien is spotted he is still one square inside the fow. You need to hover your mouse around until you get the target.
I likes it though, really coming together nicely.

I don't think that Chris will give the go ahead for Steam until we have a stable build. He knows the score.

I know it's a long shot, but forced AA from your control panel can cause such effects, or even the mode that it's set in.
