I couldn't resist it, I bought Skyrim.
Up to now I am finding the game pretty good, wow the place is massive, I don't think I have ever played a game this big.
Is anyone else playing it, if so what are your thoughts on it so far?

Hmm? He's after a way to change the game's resolution. V8 doesn't have the same opening dialog to set that. ALT + Enter is an option to get fullscreen but apparently it cuts off a portion of the game. Sorry if I've totally misunderstood.
This is correct. And the window that the game first starts in is tiny, I can't read the text or see more than a few feet around my characters.
I have found that most games have some sort of config fine that you can alter, forcing the screen to start in the resolution of your choice and was wondering is there such a file in Xenonauts.

Is there still a way to play it in windowed mode, or was that removed as well? (My game automatically opens in full-screen.)
How can this be? Mine opens in a tiny little window.

4. If planes and ufos are overlapping, allow me to choose which one I am clicking on. Don't force me to zoom to get the right one.
Yeah this is pretty bad, you really have to struggle sometimes to get the game to recognize which you want to select.

1 - One niggle that can wait, but still niggles is moment and shot speed. With no way to slow them down things happen way to fast.
2 - Even when 1920x1080 resolution was working a section of the right hand side of the picture was off the screen, meaning I couldn't see all of the text on that side.

What happened to the option to choose a resolution at the beginning of the game? I guess in the rush to get V8 out Chris forgot to add this.

I tried 12 times to catch a ufo, each time running out of fuel even though I was right over the target for most of the time.

The new animations look brilliant, but the game is a bit to buggy to play a proper game, needs many hotfix.

Can only play it in a tiny little window, full screen resolution broken. This is a pretty big bug for me.

Resolution messed up. I force the game to full screen and only get the centre bit of the picture, information and stuff has gone off the screen. Things were fine at 1920x1080 before patch, what has been broken?

I would assume that Chris is wasting time eating and sleeping. True dedicated programmers refrain from eating, sleeping and having sex until the job is done.

It's okay but I much prefer 'Armoured princess Crossworlds', I think a lot better game of the same type as Heroes.

Although I'm not sure whether your query is in jest or not, I'll bite: you'll be pleased to learn that clicking on the tickbox labelled "Auto" on Desura's login splash screen will spare you the typing.
That's just it iamkyon, it's doesn't. I have enabled this option over and over again, but still boot to the login box. May have something to do with windows 7, I really don't know.

The current builds only have the newer industrial tileset to test.
The farm set was a little less well polished but very X-Com.

I am a little slow when it comes to playing these types of games. I am level 16 and really enjoying myself. It gets better and better the more you play it.
It's a shame that good games like Skyrim are so rare these days, but I have to say I am getting every penny's worth out of it.
Just as well I have Skyrim seeing as I can't play Xenonauts due to no resolution option. (did-dig)
