game freezes at 06.28 29/sept 1979 cannot pass whatever save i load

update ....it seems it is not last alien, tried again at different alien base, and game hung when first alien moved....both instances this alien was a purple reaper

when i attack my first alien base, i kill all but one of the aliens, and when the last one moves the game hangs. task manager yet again......please help

i understand this, but why is this version more unstable than the last?

when will game be complete ....then maybe worth a try

i am suffering the very same type of problems since updating, plus it crashes at crashsite 6 every time. if i dont engage ufo and just run the clock, then it randomly puts me into combat then crashes, i also have the same problems with saves.....this is too frustrating to continue with, better to replay xcom

outside map. soldier cannot enter area, and throwing flares etc.,does not light up the area

when the aliens attack my base for first time, i kill all aliens, but there is one moving unseen in black area. no alien icon, cannot enter with soldiers and flares etc., don't work.. and alien kills all soldiers, help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
