    I tried to search this forum for my idea but was not successful (this doesn't mean I am not dump)

    Inspired how this is done in Rise of Flight with community skins - it would be great if there will be possibility of voting about integrating sub-maps created by community into game. This would greatly increase sub-maps library and thus levels would be more random.

    It should looks like following : there will be separate thread for each sub-map and creator of sub-map will post source code as well as screen shots and some justification of this map. And we will vote if we wants to have this in the game or not. If there will be at least 50 or 100 votes then result will be valid.

    These sub-maps could also be added in form of patches after release

    What do you think guys?

  2. There is something that Xeno could pick up from "that other game", too.

    A different coloration for the movement allowance.

    Green tiles: you can move up to here and do reaction fire with your current weapon. Turning or stance changes will not affect that.

    Yellow tiles: you can move beyond the green tiles but no reaction fire for you.

    and how will you do turning around then?

  3. A modifier key so that you temporarily ignore your AP reserve might be nice.

    For example if you get into a bad situation hold alt as you fire and it won't try to save your AP or something similar.

    Yes this would make the job as well. And set the same reserve time for all would be nice as well. e.g. ALT+click on reserve time button will set it for all soldiers. And ALT+fire gun/walk will ignore settings for selected unit. I was thinking about ALT/CTRL at first place but thought it would add complexity for players when they will have to press new key...

    Ok guys, first of all thanks for all the reports, they were really useful to find out what caused this crash.

    So, the issue was caused by the new spawn maps for the chinook in the farm tileset.

    I've corrected the maps affected by this error, you can download them from here.

    You'll just need to extract the files from the archive and place them in [xeno install folder]/assets/maps/farm, clicking on substitute files if prompted.

    That should do the trick! :)

    Xenonauts is like £20 ( I think.... I preorded a long time ago), and you can Xcom on GMG for £24.

    Get both! It's a good year to TBS.

    just wondering, where do you live? My price for xcom is 45 EUR after 10% discount on GMG. Xenonauts are three times cheaper for me but if xcom would cost 15 EUR as well, I'll pick xenonauts anyway :)

  6. please welcome new member among us - myself ! :)

    Just pre-ordered and have a question. If I'll start playing current build (14.1.1) how will be my experience affected by it's current alpha stage? I mean for someone who just got possibility to play it now, isn't it better to wait till Beta? Or even Release? Or now unexperienced Xenonaut (but experienced X-commer :) will not notice unfinished stuff?
