  1. This happened to me in v17.1 too. The standing alien (which was untargetable) was standing 3-4 tiles away from the alien I killed. At the end of the turn, the mission ended so it wasn't a "real" alien. The alien was standing next to a UFO on a desert map (Sahara region of Africa).
  2. This is a different bug to the one mentioned in the master bug thread about not being able to rearrange soldiers in the chinook (http://www.goldhawkinteractive.com/forums/showthread.php/2266-V12-aircraft-equipment-dropship-doesn-t-allow-placement-of-positions). I can rearrange soldiers and the Hunter within the chinook with little problem (I'll come back to this). I like to have the Hunter near the doors and the soldiers at the back to make the best of their movement out of the side doors. Rearranging the soldiers and the Hunter has no effect once the chinook has gone off on a mission. The Hunter always seems to move to the back of the chinook with the soldiers near the back door. I've also noticed that if I don't arrange the layout at all, the game will put the Hunter near the back door and the soldiers behind it on the first mission, then it will swap the order for all subsequent missions. How about that little problem I mentioned above. With the Hunter and 9 soldiers in the chinook, I can't move them around without first going into the vehicle screen and unassigning the Hunter. I can then move the soldiers, then reassign the Hunter to the chinook and place that where I want. It would be ever so handy to have a temporary storage zone on the UI so that I can drop soldiers/vehicles in there whilst arranging the layout. This isn't a biggie but worth mentioning.
  3. I spotted an alien that was still covered in the blacked-out area (hmm, come to think of it, I'm sure how I saw it in the first place). I then fired a rocket launcher at it from just inside the rocket launcher's range. This hit the alien and killed it. A corpse was later found on the ground. However, the "alien seen" icon still showed and was centred on the alien's location. No number of grenades or RPGs fired on that tile would then "kill" the alien. To me, it appeared as if the kill hadn't registered because the alien was out of sight when I hit it. I couldn't end the mission except by aborting it. Or, it could have been that there was another alien on the map. I didn't uncover every time. If this was the case, then it would appear that the alien kill reported above still hadn't registered. In either case, the "alien seen" icon would centre on now-empty tile every time.
