Not understanding that update information was in another part of the forum entirely. But since asking, TWO updates to the game have come along! This is wonderful! A great game keeps getting better!

I haven't had the game long enough for Desura to apply any updates to it, but boy I sure hope any problems have been ironed out by the time I do get an update- some of these problems sound AWFUL.

I have to laugh! Check the bottom of his post, you'll see it says "Last edited by mace6442; Today at 08:17. " The edit took off part of his original quote to me, to make it look like he wasn't being so nasty His ACTUAL quote to me was "Perhaps post with your main or STFU??" A little less polite than what he edited his post to be now I appreciate the concern, Mace, that you wanted your post to not be as nasty as it was but maybe another post saying something would have been nicer It's okay tho Mace, I forgive you. I even forgave you in my first post. Thank you, everyone, for the welcome to the forum and I mean that sincerely. It actually is a nice place to visit and I hope to be around for a long time. Now that I know where to look, and was linked to a few of them, I can keep myself updated as well. Thank you very much for showing me where to look! That is very confusing where they put the updates, but ours is not to reason why... And I have paid for the game (just didn't buy the premium level- I'm poor) so I have the latest alpha build (12.11 I think?) so I already know the game is awesome It is because I am so excited about the game that I was accidentally riling up Mace with my question at first. Thank you very much for the info, I appreciate it. And Thotkins, thanks for the toys! I tip my mug of ale to you, then belt out the lyrics to old 80's songs on the karaoke machine

Well, thank you for the warm welcome, Mace. I hope you welcome every new forum member with such charm and wit. I didn't realize, however, that I was talking cr*p (how do you pronounce that word anyway, with the asterisk there? Crasteriskip?). I based my question on the "Forum: Xenonauts News & Announcements" section of the forum, the very first forum section after the heading of "Xenonauts". (This part of the answer to our friend Mace also applies to the other person who replied to me- I do appreciate the nice part of the reply with the forum replies that were not listed in the "Forum: Xenonauts News & Announcements" section of the forum). If you take a gander at the 8 threads in that forum, you will notice that the latest thread labeled "Progress Report" is dated 2-Feb-2012. Now, while I realize myself that 5 months is less than a year, I did try to hedge my statement with the modifiers of "about" and "good", both of which imply plus or minus months on either side of the actual correct number of months in a year. Still though, 5 months is a long time with no progress report. Text, sadly, leaves out all the tone and body language that is included in language. When I typed my statement, I meant no antagonism at all, I was merely curious about the length of time since the last progress report. I have paid for the game, after all. I thought I was due at least a progress report. So I asked if anything was being done. I apologize, Mace, for my words. I never meant to p*ss (pasteriskiss?) you off with my question, nor do I think I was "talk(ing) a load of cr*p" with my question. What, exactly, does "Perhaps post with your main or STFU??" exactly mean? I understand the "or STFU??" part, but what does "Perhaps post with your main" mean? Sounds a little nonsensical. Did you leave out words in your anger at me? I thank everyone for the warm welcome to these forums. Hopefully you great all new members with such enthusiasm. Makes a persons heart warm to see how nice the forum members are. Thank you.

There hasn't been a progress report for about a good year now. Is anything being done?
