in previous xcom like games the funding would increase each/every month according to your performances (up to a max that was depending on the continent)
he is probably confused by the fact that in xenonaut 2, it only increases on completing a couple quests/research.

not sure if it was fixed since, but aliens had a tendancy to get stuck in corner of rooms trying to get to you instead of going to the doors.

ok i can apparently recruit as many scientists or engineers as the total facility available on ALL bases : see for instance engineers on savegame attached :

hmmm in my current save i am restricted again, maybe recruiting more is possible only when people are on transit ?
or when you just have room. thinking about it that must be it : if buildings are full no recruiting, if there is room then you can recruit the number you want.

the bug is precisely that you get the not enough search facility (or engineer facility) message with plenty of living space.
chris is supposed to have changed that
i can also provide a save in which you can buy whatever number of those you want.

Now you only see flags in soldier portraits when recruiting. otherwise flags cannot be seen anymore anywhere apparently
they lose their nationality when joining xenonauts ???

why not i guess, but it is sad to have ammo but 0 occasions to use them.
do you plan a change that would make these more usefull ?

the equipment of all troops that are not in a ship is supposed to be virtual (transparent) : if you had some equipment that you don t have anymore (and it was not distroyed on the battlefield) then there is a bug.

it s not useless, it s meant for soldiers with low strength
you use it on weak soldiers not on strong ones
for instance soldier with 61 strength goes from 74/91 to 86/116
it is +25 strength (not +15), also you are wrong to think strength is only about carrying stuff, getting multiple shots on a target does require strength for instance.

by the way i have an assault guy who shoots 6 * 3 times with his shotgun when going berserk : isn t that a bit much ?

currently additional ammo are never used
i didn t check but i suspect the heavy automatic riffles have same issue. (with 3 or 10 bullet shots)
to force us into recharging more often i suggest lower number of bullet too.
