  1. This is true in older versions, too, figured it was intended somehow. Though I do question the wisdom of standing around on something that can collapse out from beneath you, lol.
  2. I understand why the jetpack has to start and end on a tile, it'd be kind of silly to see a soldier just idling in the air (as often happened in the first game). It also means that enemies can't shoot a soldier out of the air, because the movement is uninterruptible. Maybe some kind of special flag can be made so the flying unit is considered to already have arrived while they're in transit, so this doesn't happen? Obviously reaction fire would need to be tweaked so it can only happen after the soldier's arrived? On the other side, I wonder how the game handles cover when two soldiers are standing atop each-other. Does taking a shot risk shooting the other soldier if they don't crouch? Or can they both stand and fire, because neither is in 'front' of the other?
  3. Been through a number of maps, haven't seen a set of stairs. Plenty of ladders and teleporters, but I remember stairs in X1; I'm not sure why I'm bothered, but it feels like a weird thing to be missing. xD I imagine it has something to do with engine issues? Or maybe they exist, just haven't been added to maps lol.
  4. When scrolling through the soldiers on the Loadout screen, soldiers wearing Guardian armor will sometimes have extra straps visible underneath the straps already present. Does not appear to effect gameplay, nor be (as I initially suspected) related to male/female soldiers. Happens seemingly randomly, I'd say maybe 30% of the time, so these extra straps just kind of appear sometimes. Methods to reproduce: Go to loadout screen, find two soldiers wearing Guardian armor (with Jetpack installed on both), make sure they are next to eachother in the list, then select the one not currently on screen. If it doesn't happen, try again a few times. I took a video of it, and could get pictures though I wouldn't know where best to host them. I'd call this bug low priority, but distracting lol. Edit - After more testing, it is specifically the straps for the Jetpack that are the issue. The sprites for the other, lower-tier armors don't seem to be affected, it's still just the Guardian armors, but without the Jetpack installed there are no straps. 2023-08-18 19-58-58 strap bug.mkv
