  1. Hello again! I got a bug that is a lot more concrete this time! ^_^

    Alright, so I've noticed that the objects that represent undestroyed windows in the industrial maps (not entirely sure about other maps) don't have any cover, while, after destroying said windows, they give the 50% cover (as initially intended presumably).

    The windows in the print screen doesn't have cover, same with that little thing in the middle, the bus stop, with the windows, until they're destroyed. That's all there is to it, so I usually try to melee them down before taking cover to ensure protection, which is weird. I play the latest version on steam (1.54). I'm not entirely sure if this happens on other maps with windows, I can't remember atm!

  2. You're right, there is some strange behaviour with alien miss shots. I played a mission a few days ago and saw it myself, but I couldn't reproduce it at all no matter what I tried.

    So we're aware of it and looking into it, but it's proving kinda hard for us to fix right now.

    Great to know you're aware. :P I'm just gonna hope for now that no 100 TU units die will die to this QQ. Man the feels when you lose an elite soldier...

  3. In 1.53 I lost two soldiers to shots going straight through walls (one example was a door). This is really frustrating as I enjoy playing really slow ironman on veteran! This also seems to happen occasionally, that shots randomly go everywhere, but I have only died to it very seldom.

    If you want to recreate the more concrete example, it was the one with the door not blocking a shot. So I was breaching a shot down Corvette with androids. I had just put my entire group of 8 outside the Corvette, as close as possible, except one guy who was a shielder who was inside. It was really crowded behind the door seperating my group and the shielder and one android (about five tiles forward, outside of smoke (also a one tile to the right of the shielder). What happened was that the android attempted to shoot my shielder, missed, and hit my Heavy right behind my shielder and behind the door. Basically, the shot went through the door. Again, this has happened with walls as well, and seems to mostly happen with alien fire.

    I think it might be relevant to add, that the area under and in front of the shielder was smoked. I had thrown a smoke grenade just in front of my shielder. That might have caused the bullet to go in a weird path.

    So this was my bug anyway, perhaps it's incredibly rare, but shots going through things is one of the most frustrating mechanics. Except berserkering that is. :P Shots were always miss shots!
