  1. I started a new game with X:CE and with Ironman off, and the lagging is gone. Thanks, guys.
  2. Really? You're right, I am on Ironman mode, but I had no idea it did that... I'll try a new campaign when I get back from work today, I guess. See if it helps.
  3. Also, the lag occurs whenever I kill an alien or one of my own units gets killed, and ranges between 10 to 30 seconds. I love this game, but this bug is extending what should be 20-30 minute ground missions into hour long ordeals composed of staring at the motionless sprites on my screen.
  4. I've been playing the GOG version of Xenonauts for a while, and I've been having this problem of massive lag hitting as soon as I click the "end turn" button. As soon as I did so, it would take anywhere between 15 seconds to a full minute for the game to unfreeze and start the alien turn, and then another minute for my turn to start again. On larger maps, this becomes up to five minutes of waiting if there are still a lot of enemies left. The problem sorta fixed itself while I was still playing version 1.09 and downloaded the community edition mod, but now that I've used the 1.54 update (vanilla, no mods besides the skitso's map pack), the problem is back with a vengeance. Help please?
