  1. It's not that hard, you just need midi files for the notations, and reasonable knowledge of music production for the synths etc. Me and my mat are doing a more serious lemmings medley that is sounding quite good. It takes you on a journey across the lemmings soundscape in 6 different dance styles. LOL

  2. well.. that was nice. 30 odd episodes at 20 to 30 mins each. And it was... enjoyable. The idle chatter kept it somehow interesting almost all the time.

but man... i wont play on superhuman myself. line of sight seems to result in death pretty often.

I know you gotta have a few practice games first and even then you might not make it. I have done EU on super but TFTD I have always die.

  3. I wonder if anyone has encountered this strage effect. I was playing a base defense mission on superhuman. I had someone waiting to do reaction fire with a heavy plasma in one hand and in the other hand he happened to have a sonic pulser. A lobster man appeared and my guy shot at him at least 12 times, which needless to say is way more than his time units would allow, and each time the heavy plasma shot the round exploded! It was like he was shooting grenades. This is a bug I assume! Many of the shots went wildly off target and laid waste to the area he was shooting into, killing many of my own troopers along with the lobsterman. Has anyone else encountered this?

Very interesting, never heard of a but like that (not saying I don't believe you) http://www.ufopaedia.org/index.php?title=Known_Bugs_(TFTD)#Battlescape_Bugs

I wonder what the error is that would cause that??? I spoze it would have to load the wrong codes for the ballistics to make it explode like that and also do an incorrect time unit check. Very odd.

    Has anyone else had this??

  4. I think Chris should hire me as the new in charge of all music person. I clearly have potential. ::rolleyes:

I couldn't be bothered to run it all though a mixer and sort the levels out since it's just for a play around after all. I got as far as side chaining the kick with the bass and gave up. maybe one day I will have a real go at remixing the midi files of xcom. Some kind person has even posted up the TFTD midi files on ufopaedia for me to mutate.

  5. But he didnt save every turn he saved before and after ground battles/missions. He didn't know what was going to happen in them anymore then you when you played without saving (for however long you don't save in UFO:EU). That isn't savescumming.

He said he only reloded if he suffered "horrible wipeouts" (like losing the whole squad kind of thing). Small regular losses didn't make him reload.

Don't put words in his mouth.
