I'd be happy to test out the Mac build as well, if you're opening up slots again with V13.

And tonight, it isn't happening. I didn't change anything in what I was doing, so I'm not clear on what was going on. I had scientists, and I had hit the start button. Unless you do that, there's no way to assign scientists to a project.

I started Xenonauts, planted a base, and opened the research panel. I added the "Alien Invasion" subject to the research area, and I'm unable to increase the number of scientists assigned to the subject. Not sure if there's a way around this or not. But it seems to be consistent; I restarted the game, and verified that the bug happened with a second new game.

[[V 8.2 Ground Combat] - Vanishing medkit]

I had a soldier with an assault rifle, and put a medkit in his secondary slot. The assault rifle moved to my backpack, as expected. After treating another soldier, I put the assault rifle back into the primary slot. The medkit vanished.
