  1. Yup, thats what I'm talking about. I threw a smoke and gunned down a grey alien, ran my troops forward, next turn starting moving and bam, 6 dmg or 5 dmg or so. Also, does anyone else have this issue of a giant massive purple alien, sometimes turning into a red suited grey alien to toss a grenade, then turning back into a massive alien? It was right off the ramp of my second dropship and it fricking wrecked my entire landing party. I spread out as best I could and shot back but it resisted everything, including the Hunter machine gun. It's poison explosion did so much aoe from multiple shots that my party wiped. =/ **EDIT** Sounds like that my be something called the Omega. I'm going to do what was suggested and try adjusting it to 0. See if that helps when I get back from work.
  2. Hello, I am also having the same issue as Confidor. I would also like to ask why smoke grenades do damage to my troops? If there is an FAQ or something that I could read, that would be quite nice because I'm not understanding some of the changes.
  3. Ahh, thanks for the tips guys. I haven't raided an alien fortress yet. I heard it was nigh impossible until you get a weapon type called MAG. I try to shoot down UFOs before they start hurting my relations with other nations but I do appreciate the info. Now I can study them more effectively!
  4. Ohhhhhh....it may be that my reading comprehension is cap and not that you weren't clear enough. I'll try removing ECS and see if FitH works.
  5. Ahh, okay. Different missions. Gotcha. Is there any way to tell what type of mission a certain UFO is pursuing? By either altitude or speed or something? I've been spoiled by Long War I guess. Their altitude would give a hint at what you could expect the ship to be doing. A general outline of the changes would be pretty sweet. And maybe I ran into a heavily crewed scout. It was really intense right up till I was getting sniped! Reapers scared the crap out of me that early. One thing I like about your mod is I get to see aliens I wouldn't normally get to see. I'm pretty good at knocking down terror mission ships. Thanks for the info! I'll figure it out by wading waist deep through rookie blood!
  6. Hello! I'm having a bit of trouble getting two of your mods to work. FitH and ECS. I'm downloaded the CE versions and cannot get either to work it seems. I've chucked so many C4 and plasma C4 at sides of UFOs to try and breach and nothing seems to work. Also I never got to research or build or use your breeching mods. Are these mods no longer compatible with the CE? It says they've been installed successfully but nothing happens. Your Dynamic UFO Spawn worked fine through CE but these two have not. =(
  7. This is a really fun mod but I'm getting wrecked. I'm a super noob, playing the latest CE edition. I have not beat xenonauts once, even in vanilla so that's probably part of my problem. The main issue seems to be that very early on I'm encountering the alien snipers before I can get Jackal armor. They're picking off my team before I can get close to a UFO! I'm going to keep powering through it because I love the variety but just curious if there is a place I can read some tips for this mod for a new player? Awesome mod by the way, love the variety!
