  1. SpaceVenture Kickstarter!! Sci-fi comedy adventure game fans! Attention! Remember the Sierra On-Line Space Quest series? I certainly do... they were comedy sci-fi satire and a hell of a series of adventure games. The Two Guys from Andromeda SpaceVenture sees the Two Guys reuniting for a spiritual successor to the SQ series, after 20 years apart, working on other projects... their epic reunion means a great new games (on PC/Mac/Linux/iOS/Android) with a new story and IP, and a new hilarious universe, with new awesome protagonists, villains, and cool locations. The team has brought fans unprecedented access... dudettes & dudes, I got to chat with both of the Two Guys, Mark and Scott, on a twitch tv feed, while another KS backer was playing their games live, Let's Play style. And by the way, Scott is still f***king funny! To give us all a feeling of the game style, the Guys have created mini-game prototypes, a kind of living concept art that you can actually play and feel (as the guys say) what it's like to be "an idiot in space again!" which (any SQ fan will say) we really do miss, and now that they've hit $300K, prototype 3 is right around the corner. Best of all... if SpaceVenture is successful, it the Two Guys will be in a really good position with Activision to prove to them that they're the right & only team to continue producing Space Quest games in the future! Activision has the SQ IP is in their hands, and is watching this closely (and yes, has given permission to use the Two Guys characters, and other incidentals like buckazoids, etc). So, if we want to play this awesome SpaceVenture they're going to build for us, and we want more Space Quest games in the future, then all we have to do is back this Kickstarter and bring that flavor of sci-fi parody back to life. I personally, am just as excited with the new game idea as I am with bringing Roger Wilco back into space. SpaceVenture Kickstarter!! Here's a taste of Mark Crowe's design and art direction, also the scene of the latest prototype (sorry about the size!! there wasn't a smaller version of this graphic available for me to link to).
