  1. Just an extension of the bug that allows shooting through objects and UFOs. Just to add that it is also the case for Base Defence missions. Pretty messy first turn. One alien spots the Xenonauts followed by a hail of plasma fire from all over the base, going through everything.
  2. Base defence mission in December. Two soldiers equipped with Buzzard armour. As they move, a larger version of the animation also appears, duplicating the soldiers actions. An exception to this is when firing - in this case a scatter laser. Then the enlarged animation showed the Xenonaut jumping a wall/ fence.
  3. The game is in late October. No UFO alert appears on Geoscape when the little red triangle appears. This happens for all UFOs, also completed research and manufacturing. November first arrives and there is no funding screen. This occurred following the blank Hire soldier screen. I didn't attempt any "work around" for that. I simply went back out to the Geoscape. The first time this occurred, the game got as far as Nov 14th. Unfortunately, not sure what I pressed, but the funding screens, research, UFO alerts then all arrived at once. On the second occasion, if the intercept button is pressed, then you can select a UFO on the Geoscape. This is followed shortly afterwards by a CTD. Edit: I should have mentioned that the research, manufacturing is all going on in the background and that you can go in and out of the base and use the screens there normally. Edit 2: No issues on third play through this morning.
  4. Just to update that the blank soldier hiring pop up is still an issue (I didn't see it for 17.9).
  5. My first terror mission in October, in S America. There are black spaces where some of the buildings should be. It's not on all of the map, or even all the buildings, but on a few tiles. Possibly linked with 17.9 Desura version Ground texture problem, but it doesn't look the same, so posted it separately. No issues with units going outside the map or anything like that.
  6. Managed to place a workshop on the right hand side of the second row from the top, taking it outside the new grid layout and into the old one.
  7. Hello, I just brought the game few hours ago, but I already played the demo back then so I know how to play a bit. I encountered an invisible armed civilian in the arctic area in the first mission. He wore a red snow coat, and carried a shotgun.   8. I built a second base in C America, the first being in Middle East. I added 8 troops to the second base, and later on began to train 2 of them. Upon trying to allocate troops for a mission, I found I could only allocate 5 of them. On entering the battlescape I found that the Chinook contained duplicates of my troops. I have been able to complete two missions from this base with no crashes. Possibly related to transfer bug reported earlier, but I didn't see any note of duplicate troops in another thread. Will post screens/save game when I get a chance.

Hello everybody, on different ground missions I ran into aliens, that I barely could see (hidden_a3_s.jpg) or that were really invisible and I only could look where the cursor changed into a cross and could fire (xenonauts_hiddenaliens_s.jpg and xenonauts_hiddenaliens1_s.jpg). In the last case the alien was in a cabinet and was only visible after being killed. I found on the forum different bug reports dealing with similar problems. If this is already known, feel free to delete my message.
  10. Maybe this is a known bug, but I couldn't find a thread on it.... My soldier who carries the Pistol and Combat Shield starts the mission with the same number of APs shown in the equip soldier screen at base (60-110 depending on how leveled up the soldier is). Each turn of ground combat he has that same number of APs, unless you happen to go into his inventory to access a grenade or something. At this point, the game "remembers" that the Combat Shield (which wasn't shown in the base, of course) has its own weight (20 Kg) now that the soldier has it equipped in the combat mission. This drops the soldier's APs from his max of 60 or 110 to down around 20 to 45 (unless he starts dropping equipment). Coupled with the fact that strength isn't improving from mission to mission, this makes for an inconvenient bug if you like the Combat Shield. Sooo, the bug is EITHER that he starts out with way too many APs because the game isn't calculating the weight of the Combat Shield properly at the start of the mission OR he loses way too many APs just for opening his inventory. I'll let Chris decide which is more appropriate for game balance, I would just like it to be consistent from turn to turn.
  11. Hi, I've reach July, the 25th and medium UFOs are often spotted on the geoscape. Because of the escort and the toughness of them, I can't crash them, so I let them live on my beloved earth. But sometimes, one of them finds my secondary Xenonauts base, and causes a CTD: BUG When a Landing ship reaches a base, 2 cases: 1°) there is no soldier to defend it, then the base is lost (it's not a bug, just cry baby!) 2°) there are soldiers to defend it, with weapons and armor and amos and naked pin-up on the wall. In this case, the game crashes during the loading of the map, just before the ground combat begins. This is very ennoying because I can't go further in the game, this bug/CTD occuring very often due to the probability for landing ships to attack my bases.
  12. Hi, I looked for such a report in the masterbug topic, but I didn't found it. My main base has just being attacked by a UFO, missiles did not damage it, so I expected a ground mission to defend my Lucina like int UFO:EU, and... CTD. This bug occured 3 time (I saved just before the UFO appeared) in the same conditions. Specifics are: Date: July the 25th Base coordinates: X:4639 Y:1509 (Northern Africa) UFO type: landing ship escorted by 2 fighters
  13. Whenever i face a fighter in Air Combat it says 'Alien Craft has landed in water' Even when i am over land. I made sure i was over land. The tail till over land option is blanked out so i cant do that. Can you fix this in the full version? Thanks in advance PS: This was happening over Brazil, America, Russia, And Europe
  14. Chris and Sathra: I know there isn't going to be a separate pre-orderer private forum for bugs and such anymore, but just wondering where you want us putting anything that does come up. I ask as on a playthrough (B7.5) just the other day I had the same issue as: back at http://xenonauts.com/forum/topic?id=1028 So I wondered how you wanted us to put things up from here on?
