  1. Hmm i ran into this problem again after many new game restarts.

    I tried everythiing from complete fresh install to different xce versions to different mod priorities, yet nothing would solve it.

    THEN, i realised i had combined the living space of the living quarters into the command center (for more building space).

    As soon as i stopped destroying the original base living quarters, the planes started showing upa s options at teh start of games and the dissassemblys where there.

    *facepalm*

  2. Ive always played on normal, not sure why, maybe a throwback from my enemy unknown days (was a youngster then).

    But i cruised through a normal game and it was... boring. So low n behold a lightbulb moment hit me, 'play it on insane ya idiot' kind of thing :)

    but had a few problems, no aircraft dissasembling etc (due to no hanger space duh!) but i had deleted my save games in frustration as well as reinstalling everythign so yeah, ive already struggled through 3 Insane starts, and i only have 1 more restart in me tbh :)

    A few questions left to be answered ad then im right to start!..

    ps: maybe someone here knows, how do i change the firing modes of my rifles (ak47 and m16) so theres ONLY burst fire? i tried removing the single shot options but that didnt do anything, they were still available in the game.

    basically i want them to be like the machine gun (so the soldiers can only react with burst) and i dont have to go through each soldier changing firing modes at the start of each mission.

  3. Hello, I would like to change the available firing modes for certain weapons.

    For example, i like Rifles to be burst fire all the time.

    However, at the start of missions i have to set all of them to burst fire, and the soldiers still use single shots on occasion.

    Ive tried removing the single shot info from the weapons_gc.xml file, only leaving burst fire.

    But, single shot modes at still available.

    I want to make them like the machine guns.

    I have gone through the Add a New Weapon tutorial.

    What have i missed?

  4. Hello, Great mod guys im loving it.

    However i have a query, i startd a new game on insane mode for shits n giggles, but im not getting any disassemble in the manufactory area. So im stuck with Condor aircraft.

    Is this normal? im running the latest XCE (steam auto update) 0.34 (5 oct) and the latest hellgate.

    Is somethign wrong with this install?

    ANSWER: i didnt have any free hanger spots, altho many data cores.

  6. Thanks for the reply blackwolf.

    Cause i always end up tweeking my mods as much as possible i rarely update or look for updates till ive reached a point where theres a major update., or i run into a game changer/breaker.

    What id would really like for this mod is instead of including every file in the mod (txt) for each hotfix/update (thereby overwriting the hours of gameplay tweeks and changes), giveme a list of changes and what files are changed, so i can mod my own version of this mod with the updates.

    But wishes may as well be fishes and pigs, might one day fly.

  7. Howdy, i just researched Base Upgrade and my workshops and labs upgraded to quantum albs and nanoworkshops.

    Sounds great, however i cant assign research or production projects.

    Anything that was actually being researched or under production is still there, however i cant start new ones once theyve finished.

    Both research and production bases have 99/0 lab and workshop space, (yes up upped the lab and workshop space in the files)

    Even changing the values for the quantumlab and nano workshops to include workspace (20) doesnt let me run any projects.

    Anyoen got any ideas?

    *edit* i changed the lab and workshop space (20) for nanotechworkshop and quantumlab and built new ones, and it worked, i now have space. However, its kinda annoying to ahve all my old facilities switch over to buildings that i have to knock down and rebuild again.

    *edit 2* After editing the workspace in quantum labs and nano workshops, i reloaded a previous game and once base upgrades was researched, the base facilities upgraded just fine, i could once again start research projects and production projects.

  8. i had a ufo intercept my 2 returning condors, it appeared they were stuck hovering above my base, after i clicked the x's (during the intercept) and combat ended the ufo flew off and my planes were in the base.

    Its weird i had a returning chinook and it almost appeared the fighters were waiting for that to return before they entered teh base.

    *edit* i dint see the above hotfix sorry, im going to do a clean install and a new game then ill give you more feedback.

Okay, with CE 0.24 around the corner, I'm not going to declare Lore+ a completed mod until I've revamped it for both vanilla and CE. agris had sent me a revamped version for 0.23 CE, but that's goign to have to go on hold as 0.24 will radically change how unlocks are triggered in Lore+. In the meanwhile, as there have been no further complaints about the test version of 1.07, I'll go ahead and update that... but after I have gone to bed and cleared my head. It's now 00:31 where I am and I'm so sleepy I keep making typos.

    Hello folks, i was going to start a new game, is it worth waiting to start a new game? or am i good to go now?

  10. i to would like to know which mod folder (c:..<username/docuemnts or xenonauts/assets/mods) you put mods in.

    Also what the mod structure is for these external mods.

    *edit* using steam version of Xenonauts.

    *edit 2* ok i put a copy of a basic mod i made into the mods dir of xenonauts and mydocuments/zenonauts/modding and neither of them apply any changes.

    Is there a way of installing mods withotu overwriting teh base files?
