Alright! So after about two weeks Steam Support finally got back to me with the following response:

Xenonauts is currently available for Windows only.

If you have any further questions, please let us know - we will be happy to assist you.

Welleh, not sure if this is the right place to post this but every time i try to download Xenonauts (OSX 10.9.1) Steam just instantly tells me its done without actually getting anything. Happens on both current and legacy versions of the game and its the only Steam item I have that does it. It's probably not of interested to you but hey, just wanted to give you a heads up!
