Yeah, I was standing directly where she was hit...and the alien hadn't moved from his location. It was really, really irritating since the mission was going splendidly and I was outside the building about to send her around the corner and he shot her as if there was no obstruction of the window.

So, I just had an alien kill one of my soldiers through a window...with a garbage dumpster completely blocking said window. If I stand where my soldier's corpse is lying, I get 100% blocked in trying to hit the alien.

I had a downed soldier, thinking they were dead, but they survived somehow. I didn't see a "Soldier is Unconscious/Dead" type of message, but I may have missed it.

If there's going to be no defense, I'm all for direct LOS for something like Mind Control.

Wow, I'd understand the "realism" of removing PSI powers from humans, but I figured there would be some sort of counter like a dampening field. Something along the lines of "After researching a captured alien, our scientists were able to measure a wave form of energy emanating from the alien's brain. A method of disrupting this energy has been discovered which can be attached to the inside of a soldier's helmet to provide protection from distant manipulation. However, to make it portable, the size and power of the helmet may not protect against a directed attack from close proximity"....or some such.

Ah, sorry, I made an incorrect inference from Doomsdayman. I guess he's talking about removing that aspect of X-Com from Xenonauts. I haven't played far into Xenonauts since I don't want to get attached to a game only to have it's save invalidated.

Is it normal for your own guys to get suppressed by machine gun fire? I had an assault troop a good two tiles away from the UFO entrance and he was surpressed when my HMG troop shot into the UFO.
While I'm sure it's already noted, some of the descriptions for the research items are written in the first person and seems a bit off to me with some somewhat humorous tones that don't jive with the seriousness of the game.

I had the game crash in the Soldier load-out screen...a first for me.

Hey, ako. I was almost afraid of something like that with my "half-visible" UFO, but it didn't happen. This is the first time I've seen any weird corruption of a map since playing the experimental builds.

I have a UFO hanging off the edge of a farm map (save available). So, you walk into the UFO and it's like a hallway since there's only a two-person wide area to walk
Additionally, an NPC farmer just sits still like a statue on his turn.

A very, very minor quibble. The Alien Interrogation/Sebillian Analysis from your first capture presented itself a little "out of order" for me. For example, the Alien Intrerrogation stated he was captured, then ended up killing himself. Shortly afterward, I had the Sebillian Analysis completed and it was providing description as if it was still alive and the image showed it held in an alien containment facility. I'd just make sure the Sebillian Analysis kicked off first, then the Alien Interrogation. If memory serves correctly, the interrogation was present when I returned to base, but I can't remember if I had to research the Sebillian Analysis.
Additionally, I'd think it useful to be able to call up the last monthly funding report.
P.S. Thank you for the option of riot shields for capturing. Genius!

So, after Xenonauts, I guess you'll be looking at a Terror from the Deep version called Xenonauticals?
Kidding. The game has been rock solid for me and I really enjoy the upgrades like being able to set the soldier "kit" load-outs and placement within the chopper.
Question: After the monthly report from the various nations, is there a way to view it again? I am probably missing it.

So, if I've been playing V20 Candidate 5, do I need to now go and opt out of beta to get the Stable build?

Not a bug, you don't have to manufacture the stun weapons, you have them in unlimited numbers already. Just equip your soldiers with either the stunbatons or the gasgrenades or rockets.

FYI, I've had no crashes so far...even after loading multiple times from a save.

This may have been already posted, but after researching Stun Weapons, I do not get the option to build a stun weapon in the Workshop even though my next objective states to obtain a live alien for interrogation. I have a save available if necessary.

Based on their dedication during the holidays, I've just purchased the game.
Damn fine work, guys. I had stopped following the progress of the game for a while until I stumbled upon some gameplay videos by Yeti on YouTube. The game looks totally awesome.

Okay, okay...
So, maybe not unfair, but I'm figuring 100% block from one direction would kind of imply that it goes both ways since I, too, could lean or lift my gun over cover and spray-pray.
Besides, if you looked at the save, would you have thought you were tactically okay? From now on, I guess I have to assume windows that appear fully obstructed may not be so.
