Now, I'm sure there is some confounded meta-reason why this happened. But. Why, oh why, has the payload cap on the interceptor gone from 4 to 2? I mean, the lack of an autocannon is a trade-off for two more missiles. The addition of heavy hardpoints is a necessity, and shouldn't get a peak in affecting the balance of this fighter.

Hello, new here, do hope this is where I should post this. I'm having a bug where at the end of each mission, nothing is contributing to scores; it's all zero. Loss of a vehicle doesn't deduct a point, but others such as killing civilians do. I'd imagine the score system has to do with countries liking me. As you can see, this is a bit of a problem.
Great game by the way. I'm too young to have played Xcom, but with Firaxis as my basis for comparison, you guys are doing a cracking job.

I think emphasis should be placed on objectives, not just wiping troops out. Imagine you have a small team, or its fatigued or low on gear, you play guerilla style tactics to avoid enemy forces, using stealth, to blow up a substation lets say. I don't know, seems like I'm projecting onto your idea, but something more freeform than generic xcom might be nice.
