Thank you.
I have no issue with downloading from this site, i was just curious. I am still waiting on completing my first vanilla play through before adding mods. I don't understand how others can appreciate all the work you guys do if they do not first immerse themselves in the vanilla.

So, after some checking, it appears you have to be on the experimental branch, so no Workshop for me... sad face

So... if i'm using the Community Edition, i can't use the Steam Workshop... is that right?

Are you certain there is a Steam Workshop for this game?
I have tried to access it but cannot find it.

I also have this issue, but with trying to change role of the first soldier. My screen res. 1920x1080
Happens everytime.
But when starting new game, have no saves yet to see if it is also affected.

I've been encountering Corvette's lately and they ALWAYS kill my Foxtrot unless i have it bug out right away (before delivering payload) and that is getting expensive!

Ok, ok, I realize this made taking down alien craft rather easy in the original game, but DAMN it was fun!

Thanks to both Dranak and Max_Caine... I'm glad the Hyperwave Decoder function is still alive and well, and also greatful for the tutorial. Perhaps now i will actually be able to down alien craft without loosing a great many condors!
...and no more Foxtrots!!!!!!

Thanks for the info... now if i could just get the hang of 1 fox & 2 condor vs. 1 med. and 2 fighters... sigh

I was just wondering if at any point in the game, the specific type of alien ship detected is ever listed in the UFO DETECTED pop-up in-game... it would be very helpful to know if that small ufo is a scout or light scout BEFORE launching my interceptors!

I had a very similar problem. I was able to address it by running "Verify integrity of game cache" from the options section of the game. BE WARNED: doing so invalidated ALL of my save games... but at least my game doesn't crash anymore...

I might be wrong, but I do believe that laser weapons are suppose to have half the ammo capacity of the conventional counterparts... if that helps.

Have had the game for about a week, and everything was running fine, no problems at all.
Then, yesterday, game started to CTD randomly and increased in frequency over the course of about 2 hours.
Ran "Verify integrity of game cache" from Steam options and that seems to have fixed it... fingers crossed!
-Only downside to this is that all save game files were corrupted.
