Since it is now possibe to play quite far or even finish the game i think im not far away from the end aswell and got a few questions about the current state of game.
1. Is the D.54 already workin as intended? I read somewhere you get only crashes since some stuff isnt implmentet.
2.Is Predator and sentinel last armour to get or is Colossus still possible to get, since its still listed in the wiki.
3.Is EMP workin on androids or not? I was never able so far to get a robot stunned with these nades.
4.Are there any base facilities which we have to research and can be build later on (except for the upgrades of the missile baracks)? E.G. i didn´t see any difference when i researched "base improvement" and there is no description for it, at least i had none.
5.Can i find the correct armour values of predator, sentinel, wolf..... anywhere? would like to now how big the difference really is. Ingame there not too much difference i feel.
6. is there any trick to catch those wraith´s??? I had a couple ufo capture missions when the last alien was a wraith and he just kept on porting away. no chance to get him so mission end after 5 turns occupying the ufo and missed the last kill there. Not too much of a hassle, but a little frustrating to catch the rabbit there.

more people should join, its more like a disscusion of gameplay in here then a typical stream.

Guys, just turn off autoupdate for this game in steam, at least i do. so i can get far enough in my gameplays. And when i fid some intersting updates and feel like im ready to start over i turn it back on.

So I checked out the combat shields. They weight 20 kg, I think that's the same as before the patch.
EDIT: I'm probably deeply confused about something. weapons.xml I think says 20, weapons_gc says 3.
Yep here the same, was really looking forward to have effective early on shield units but still i got 20 Kg on them.

but i guess we have to live with this problem or did you find a way how to minimize these ctd´s?

This worked for me catching a Preator officer of a Terror mission. At least i guess it worked since i get the option for research but didnt do it so far. Got some serius CTD on global with my current save and dunno how to work around.

Hey Billion, are you sure it something to do with the new waves? I have the same issues with my current save. But im struggling and testing if it could be something with the research. But i know that you are a lot further at your gameplay im still with laserweapons.
So can you confirm that i would not get any CTD´s cause of research at Global screen?

not agree. if soldier "jumps" and see alien - he stops. from that position he can fire and i can leave him on his high level over the ground for unlimited turns. so he jumps forever?
You can "force" this if you point a higher lev ground and interrupt movement with "space", could be considered as cheating or bug.

With each soldier's jump level it gains extra accuracy.
For example i saw accuracy 104% for second level and 124% for third level.
Shotting plasma rifle at maximum green range with aimed shot (40-42 TU).
Same distance but shooting from ground gives ~80-90% accuracy.
This i can confirm and also was wondering that viewrange increases significantly with higher flylevels. Dunno if this is intended, but makes it pretty easy somehow to snipe away every alien in open terrain.
Also noticed strange things happen while "landing" on a bus, then my soldier gets invisible.

You dont need to carry overweight, just take care your at the limit for each soldier. And they all gain strength at the end of each mission. Tu is granted automatic if you at least move your soldier once per mission. Ref you already found out, but for health increase i have no clou how exactly this one increases. Bravery cannot be increased really exept by earning medals for special tasks.
