[Hidden Movement screen splash...]

It would be nice to greatly reduce the size or even get rid of the hidden movement screen splash that pops up (and stays up) during alien movement. It blocks the view way too much.

[Base defense and default equipment]

It would be nice if the soldier screen would pop up before the attack starts so you can review your troops equipment set up and change it if you liked; that shouldn't be too hard to do game development wise.

[Few suggestions on basic things]

I've had it where my guys can see an alien inside a building (the red marker) but I couldn't see where it was at even after trying to "feel around" with the mouse in fire mode.

[Attacking landed UFOs with ground troops...]

Just started playing the game a few days ago and I must say I like what I see... Having said that I've had several UFOs spotted on the ground (landed) and when I click on it the only option I get is to send fighter jets after it.

In the original XCOM game you could send your ground troops to the landing site and attack the UFO on the ground. I used to post a interceptor on patrol above it to keep it on the ground till my troops got there in the slower transport craft. It would be nice if we can do something like that in this game as well.

Or am I missing something here and there's a way to send in the troops to attack a landed UFO?
