[Save file modding?]

Hi.

I have a soldier equipped with a magstorm and predator armor in a battle. At home I am building a sentinel armor. After the battle, the moment (I think) the sentinel armor is completed, my character's armor, gun, and everything else disappears, at a loss of $500,000+. In the past I made sure to un-equip this soldier when construction was complete but now multiple save files have him missing his armor and gun.

Is there a way for me to open the save file in TEXTEDIT and add his armor and gun back into his inventory?

MAC, 18v2.

[Steam Keys - How To Claim!]

Any of you got problems with downloading the beta from Steam? I am trying to download the Mac version with the Steam key from Desura but it does not even start downloading... :-/

Yeah, I had a similar problem. In Steam, when I click the "play" radio button a screen pops up and states, "Failed to start game (missing executable)". I am running the Mac version.

Quick follow-up. Is there yet a better way to find an alien base? I have seen it appear in Russia several times in pretty much the same location but for whatever reason I did not get there to clear it. Now it is invisible again. I drive all around trying to find it with no joy.

Any NEW suggestions? Thanks!

Hey,

Is 17.6 the best/latest version I can download? I standard preordered and stand-alone downloaded it a while back. I was able to play it once in the past with some old build, but last time I tried 17.6 the program would never open for me. I am downloading it again right now in hopes it will work, but I would appreciate any info on an update if possible.

Hi,

Sorry if this is a repeat reporting of a known bug, but I cannot seem to find a solution.

When I open Xenonauts, it just bounces in my dock for ~2-3 min. Then, I get a black window that appears to be trying to perhaps maybe do something. I let it sit there, spinning beach ball and all, for 5 minutes before I forced quit the attempt.

I read about "moving assets" in the forum, but when I open package contents there is no small folder named "assets" inside the folder named "assets". What am I supposed to move?

Xenonauts v.16 When I "get info", this is the version number(just downloaded today). However, when I look at the downloaded file's name, it says "Xenonauts-=17.1-mac.dmg".

Help?
