Well I had my first go in a while and am in the middle of a ground mission so I'll just make do and enjoy what i can. It's all good

Is the Air War any better yet? I stopped because it just frustrated me, as mentioned a auto function would be good, I want to deploy my ground forces not fly fighters, the custom load outs and all that is cool but once you send them on the way that's all I care about.

Anyone remember making up batch files to get more memory? ultima underworld, seal team ect on those big floppy discs LOL

To me part of the game is to become good at it, I want to feel I can easily handle the "regular" stuff late game. Not to say that it should be outright easy to win last mission, but some benefits from all your research and building should show itself in some way I think.

Yep, after hard work of building up your troops you should be a force to be reckoned with

That would be ideal, I am having a lot of fun learning as I go, realy glad I came across Xenonautes and was happy to jump in and support it.

LOL. The way the Xenonauts shoot in the game it's a miracle they don't shoot themselves in the head! Targeting specific body parts is kind of joke when you think about it. I would have a very hard time reconciling a Xenonaut carefully aiming for the head of alien a 100 yards away only to kill his buddy standing right next to him (yes, it is possible right now.)

I had that happen last night, I figured he must of sneezed as he took the shot LOL

As a complete newb I hope it is still manageable, I am still stumbling around learning and if you want new people then you have to balance it against those v the guys/gals that know all the tricks and have been doing it for years
