[V8 Released]

just downloaded V8 and got to the menu screen. (The grey on black look is almost totally unreadable to me,sorry hope it gets changed in the future). Anyways I have a 4:3 monitor and i can click on new game normal difficulty but when I choose commence nothing happens all i get is clicking noises no matter where i click until i click on exit game.

I finally got the game to start. I have no idea where I clicked but it is definitely due to my 4:3 monitor. Will you make adjustments in future updates for those of us who have older monitors? (Most off my fav games look better on this monitor than on stretched wide screens).

take your time. the one feature Im waiting for is save load in combat and geoscape, but if it takes a few weeks or more its ok by me. I'm just glad progress is going pretty well. this will be the true successor to X-com. Thanks for all the hard work so far.

Thanks for the replies, I am a legacy pre-orderer. I will check desura tomorrow and see if it updates when V8 is released. Had nothing but problems with Steam when i bought a game once, so I never went back and don't know how their updates work. i hope Desura is better.

i'm a bit confused where to get v8 when its out. will i be able to download it from my desura page or since its still a beta from here somewhere ?
