But Skitso, I think you shouldn't remove the color of the bars. But design them less colorful/less bright.

I'm not a big computer expert.
If I decide to test a mod and install it (I will succeed here), how do I install a mod so that I can uninstall it if I not like it or for other reasons, without me having to install the whole game again after uninstalling and can continue to use the vanilla version again?

...tiny interface / letters. It;s a big strain on the eyes to see the worldmap and the tiny fonts... fonts are painfully tiny.
Hopefully you guys can bring up with some kind of a solution for this as for me it's unplayable for now.
I am playing 1280 x 1024, beside that, I agree with MrMarcus.

The two pilots also serve as researchers, while one pilots the chinook the other one performs the autopsy in front of all the Xenonauts agents.

Why do people like this game so much?
I can't talk for all people, but for myself.
Why I like it?
This unpleasant, oppressive, painful feeling of cardiac arrest out of UFO: Enemy Unknown / X-COM: Terror From The Deep, when an ET shoots at one of your men, and you, with bated breath anxiously hoping and praying that the shot goes wrong... this feeling is back!

I am finished my mission in which I killed unknown ETs.
Now, before I return home to base with my crew, I already get the results of the autopsy for these unknown ETs.
Shouldn't I return home first, passed the bodies of These ETs to the laboratory, and then wait for the autopsy results?

This is the correct answer to all posts like that. There's a reason why we put it in the game - I can't be bothered with endless discussions about sexism and political correctness on the boards.
To clarify:
In no special teams in the world 50% (not even close) of women serve in combat!
And usually, women are not physically stronger (yes, there are exceptions) than men, but I got 3 of them!
Sexism and/or an offence against political correctness was never in my mind when I wrote my doubts about this constellation.
In the forum you'll find posts about this board is partly outrageous.

[list=]3 of my female soldiers are the strongest soldiers of my personnel. But none of them looks like russian powerlifter. I don't like female so strong in my team. Don't think this is realistic. So many female (if at all!) shouldn't be stronger than male.

If my team members walk inside the chinook I hear "crunch" footsteps.

I finished the first ground combat.
My team and the chinook are not returned to base but I can research the item from my first deployment!

Also, how did you guys get that Premium Preorder stamp under your username? I just bought the premium preorder and downloading the game but its not showing up under my username here. Really hope it doesn't cause a mix up when they do the final release.

For the reason of more immersion I would love to hear much more radio chatter while dogfighting.
(Target in sign, target lost, Fox 1,2,3,4, I'm hit, the bastard breaking left, check your six, feet wet, feet dry, empty fuel, heading home, back to base, watch out, eject, eject, eject...and so on - stuff like that).
Any other suggestions?

Out of desperation, I have decided today to download the RAR file.
After almost 1 hour of downloading, just before the download is complete, it suddenly started working again via Desura.

So we can't edit soldier faces or skin/hair color?
Also this might sound stupid, but is it possible to add a small flag of that specific country next a soldier's nationality?
I would not use the edit feature at all.
You get the soldiers you get - period!
But I like the proposal to the national flags very much.

Assuming Desura allows us then to download the update/patch 17/17.1 and to use it.

In my eyes the Xenonauts DEMO was better than the full XCOM:EU
Such a shame Firaxis screwed it up for the serious strategy gamers but I can imagine the folks at Goldhawk are overjoyed

Hot and greasy, with no nutritional value.
Todays games offer a lot of eye candy but Intellectually standing idle, that's were the money is.
Fewer want/can use their brains.
So it is easier and less stressful to watch TV instead of reading a book.
And less and less are now able to read a book.
