It's always great if there's a notification whether the attack succeeded or failed. Perhaps a floating text saying "Succeeded!" or "Failed!" depending on what happened?
I would prefer a status icon on the portrait and on the character on the main screen like next to his head.

A tutorial will help to reach out more players, very good idea ! For example, I remember that it took me a while before to notice that you could spend more APs to aim by using the wheel.

How do you guys know which type was the alien ? At the moment I seem to get some kind of empty placeholder in place of the alien (i.e. the alien is totally transparent)
Maybe my copy is bugged because they shoot me from incredible distances, even my Hunter car is outranged and get destroyed before to get in range.

I updated to the last version and could not help but to notice that I was being shot at from the fog of war. It seems that aliens could see me from 50% further than I cold see them.
Is this working as intended ?

Desura is quite bad, but please report the issues on desura website as well ?

Yeah at the moment I think there's an issue where using a medipack actually injures the soldier it's meant to be healing, which is a bit unfortunate if someone suffers a bleeding wound...
LOL this was what happened yesterday.
*Soldier got hurt and is bleeding for 2HPs*
Me:
Um what should I do ? Should I use this large medipack in her inventory
Ah she cannot heal herself, I will bring a soldier next to her next round
*Soldier is bleeding for 4HPs*
Oh I got this ... wtf it looked like he hit her instead of healing her ... They must have recycled the animation from the grenades
*Soldier is bleeding for 10HPs*
Maybe I should try to use more APs
*Soldier is bleeding for 14HPs*
Let's use all the APs
*Soldier is bleeding for 24HPs and is dead*

One of my soldier bled to death and I could not heal her using a medpack.
I understand that soldiers cannot seem to heal themselves but no matter how much the other was healing her, she would still bleed.

It is extremely slow though but you can use a download accelerator like DAP.

So, you have to pretend you're getting the game for the very first time. Interesting. I'll try it tonight and see what happens.
Well I had a few minutes of download but it stopped again ... So I guess I was wrong ...

EDIT: in fact a few minutes after another error popped up
Hey guys, I found a solution.
Right click the game, select uninstall and leave everything ticked: it will be removed from the list.
Now browse the games and type 'xenonauts' in the search box, press enter and it will bring you to the game page.
Now click on the big button 'Play Game', select premium and here you go, it should work now.

Well I am somewhat glad it is not only me.
Hey Chris, could you tell them to fix it, if a dev tell them to do so, they may listen more ? Alternatively you could try to see if it works for yourself on Desura ?
