xce 27 no mods installed ctd in the soldier euip. screen when you click the other button. reinstalled twice same result every time.

I thought the base prices were dropped to $500,000? They are back up to 1 million again with rader at 250,000. New game with hot fix from scratch on normal.

[Soldier Equip Screen Crash]

Something I noticed last night, when you go from geosphere to solider equip CTD, but when you go from another icon first (research, workshop, build etc.) and then to soldier equip not CTD. I played for over 5 hours last night as long as I went to another icon first np, but if the went to soldier equp first (about 6 to 7 times) CTD every time.

have played through 2 months up to corvette on Normal difficulty, not one alien has shot at me yet. tried 3 new games on normal same result first battle and once on veteran first battle same result, any one else experience this or just me?

Did complete install on candidate one, do you think I should do a complete reinstall on v1.0?

Having same problem with the screen as shown above. Computer specs IC7, 16 mb Ram, 1680 x 1050 res. navida 660, western digital hard drive 850 mb.

[aliens with no guns]

ver 21.3 In most of my ground combat games the aliens did not have any guns (just ran around looking pretty) hence I was not able to do any weapons research past laser.

I have had 2 ground combat missions where the dropship was inside the ufo. You can not move when that happens & must go back to previous save.

[Stretch Goal Poll Options]

Idea for a mission, a good old alien abduction rescue mission, intel locates a small base camp. You have to find and release prisoners, before another ship comes to pick them up, it does not have to be a timed mission, but just act like it is one. Job well down brownie points and possible additional funding from country, and maybe some reserch as to why aliens are abducting people if in fact they are in your game.
