[[V1.65W - Ground Combat] Audio - Frequent unending looping of enemy footsteps]

I've gotten this too.

I occurs at the end of the alien movement phase when that phase ends with a moving alien.

Saving your game and reloading it (takes about 20 seconds) will clear the audio loop.

One of my units was mind controlled.  Unfortunately, the last unit I eliminated in the ground mission was the leader.  When I eliminated the leader, that soldier got the "Savior metal" (destroy a psionic unit which is mind controlling a soldier).  However, since that leader was the last unit, combat ended immediately.  And as a result I lost my soldier who had been mind controlled.  (ie he never came home from the mission)
