  1. Dont mention Legends of Pegasus ever! I wonder what the people behind that pile of sh*t are doing today, does anybody know?

Walking the unemployment line most likely.

And before anyone says "good", just remember that they tried to fix that game! But they ran out of money, went out of business, and the publisher stood by and did NOTHING. The publisher didn't give them any money to fix the game, they just pocketed their share and washed their hands of it.

It's a sad day indeed when games like this remain unfinished because of publisher greed, limited development resources and the knee-jerk reactions of fans that demand a finished game or a refund, which of course likely only hastened Novacore's demise.

It's because of refund demanding jerks that I will never see a finished product. So, no, I'm not too happy with people like that at the moment. :(

  2. "10 min space strategy" is a fun one. Exactly what it says on the tin, a 4x you can play through in about 10 minutes. Also, it's free.

Other than that I have to back the love given thus far to Naev. It ain't finished, but it's free and likely always will be.

  3. In other words, if you can see flames on the ground in the crash trail behind the UFO, you used too much firepower. Also, the generator in the back compartment will be one big crater.

Try bringing down one of the bigger scouts with three F-17s. It's not as efficient, and it's riskier, but the cannon is far less likely to overkill it and you only need to capture one of these things to get yourself over the hump.

  4. No that's a fair point. I realise it isn't a sequel and yes, is more of an 'alternative cut' to use film parlance.

Arguably neither of the versions that are on the way are sequels, so I apologise for typing freely and not paying much attention to writing a post on a game forum. I should have been acutely aware that any communication on the internet should be triple checked as though it was a thesis for a Masters.

Besides, you missed out an "a" between 'to' and 'heartwarming' but keep up the good work.

Your response is disproportionate. Play nice. :(

But you're right, that typo was unforgivable. I don't know how I missed seeing it the first time around... :P;)
