Sadly the hotfix probably won't arrive for a couple of days yet. We've been busy with milestones and other things, plus one of the coders is from the Ukraine and I think he's busy celebrating Christmas over there at the moment (they do it after new year). We'll try to get it out soon though, we're all just a bit swamped
Christmas ended 4 days ago and the holidays are over since yesterday in our countries

My first question was the same. "WHO ARE THESE BLUE GUYS". Men in black aliens?
I know that the XCOM shooter has a similar design and they have to follow it, still, this only makes it worse.
Hexes, on the other side, are better for the "line of fire" if we consider actual human FOV.

The tactics battle screenshot looks really bad to me, just like ALTAR games. Still, it depends on the release date and on how long is this game in development already (and i heard it's two years at least).

I also think the tunnel between the "main" room and the "engine" room should be opened/connected.

I think you should consider the fact that a lot of people are going to remember about XCOM and remakes after such an announcement.
I, for one, played original XCOM yesterday (yay for steam sale!), and then went for the remakes (UFO:AI, UFO:ET, which i didn't find good enough on various points), and this is when i remembered about Xenonauts (visited your website when it just opened, before preorders even started, decided to wait for at least something). Bought the game just now and am happy with it (except AI and stability, of course, plus everyone wants missing features). You also made me start using desura, and i've bought some other "alphafunding" games along with Xenonauts (Project Zomboid and others).
So, who knows.
