There are times I just want to throw my mouse across the room because some of the decisions. (mainly the free move on detection one)
Cleared the game on Normal and doing decent in Classic Iron Mode untill the Ethereal / sectopod combo annihilated my squad in one move.

you're 6k over your pledge. Does anyone knows if that means that they have whatever they need? The waiting is killing me !!They got what they need but the more is donated the more they can add (hiring more artist/coders/personel in general)

To be honest the more I see of this Firaxis version the less I'm interested in it.

After shooting down an UFO Corvette I went to the crash site and scoured the entire map. I managed to kill aliens however I did find out that there was no UFO crash site to be found anywhere.
I assume this is because it was a Corvette instead of just a scout.

do note that it keeps saying 'Minor Damage' in the briefing screen. Who knows in later versions the heavy damage could mean loss of wing or half burried in the ground.

The crash is random at most (Xenonauts.exe has stopped working) happens in Geo-scape, happens in Ground Combat, happens whenever it feels like it.
And I'll be... I just managed to do 6 Ground combats this time before it decided to drop the ball. now I am confused.

blegh. Still as unstable as ever.
1 ground combat and it crashes (never been able to do 2. Though it's always at random moments it crashes)
Loading saved games - yup still unable to load them
Another weird thing I noticed
For some odd reason the main weapons suddenly are no longer equipped but are equipped in the secondary weapons part of the display.
When tried to switch them from sec to main the weapon vanishes. nowhere to be found. which suddenly left 4 of my guys without any weapons whatsoever
and my vehicle just got one-shotted to hell. (the fu?)

I'm more interested in reacting to some of those events. someting like tertiary objectives which can be ingored if wanted
Examples:
Ufo sighting - send a jet to a quick scout
Abduction - send researchers with a small escort to examen the location and learn from it (examing the death/destruction)
Tidal Wave distrution - send some researches to figure out what is causing it. + send some engineers if they discover it is a device to revese engineer it or destroy it
Entire city vaporised - send troops to secure site and later on send researched to learn more

I hardly know what those guys are preaching about anyway. All I know of that 'church' is that they got a lawsuit for fraude in Belgium.

This whole allies thing makes me think of a old friend of mine (haven't seen him the past 2 years) who would side with the aliens in an instant
half the things he rambles is just so funny.
"And when the almighty race will come we shall side with them and show them our faith." is one of the things I remember. He would also ramble on about non-believes being enslaved or 'cleansed'.

Found a bug by giving commands to fast
Moved one soldier and immediately gave a move command to another soldier while the first one was still moving. Resulting in me giving the move command on the exact same square. The moment the first soldier reached the square, the game promptly shuts downÂ
