I agree taht burst fire should not be an option with 1 or 2 shells left in the magazine. I can confirm this issue is in 1.09. However, not sure it should be called a bug...

I can vouch that I had this same problem, which is not really a bug, since it is in fact due to the ship being out of the base, or refueling.

More than welcome. In fact, it seems the higher you are, the shorter distance the grenade travels.

I am using the armor which allows flight to stand atop some three story high rocks. From the rocks, I started throwing flares around, to get a better view of surroundings. However, the trajectory of the grenade(same as flares) is flawed, and it lands much closer to the soldier than it should. Not only is the throwing distance not increased (as should happen due to throwing from heights), the throwing distance is much shorter than if the soldier was on ground level.
