HammerHead
I'm afraid I've already overwritten this save, but I've been able to reproduce it - it's a caesan guard, with a plasma rifle. He moved into the sight on the enemy turn and crouched. A sniper shot him, but he was able to shoot four times. Unless it was a plasma pistol (doubtful). I'll try to re-create this problem on a specific save I can share, then. Feel free to try it yourself. Oh, it was the latest experimental version, of course. Lidhuin
I noticed the suppression bug is mostly gone, but it did happen with a caesan in a UFO. If I see it happen again, I will try to reproduce it. Edit: Can confirm that Caesan Guards in UFOs definitely do not suffer TU loss from suppression (or something like that). HammerHead
I've got yet another question - does the number of surviving locals mean anything in the game? While I do try to save them as much as I can, I don't think it actually impacts the standings anyhow. Can somebody correct me here?
Commissar Pancakes
They count towards a negative score (which affects funding changes in that region) if I'm not mistaken.
Lidhuin
All the more reason to bring some civilians to every fight! Otherwise they'll think you're a terrible person for saving none of the nobodies around to save.
Gauddlike
I have a civilian stuffed in back of the Chinook. I just save him every mission.
thixotrop
I have a civilian stuffed in back of the Chinook.I just save him every mission. Does a BYOC (bring your own civi) count more than a BYOA (bring your own alien)? So I should kick the Caesan out of the locker box and stuff a civi in? Lidhuin
You don't bring a man to ladies' night. You don't bring an alien to civvies' fight.

Nah keep them both. If nothing else they can share in the experience. Call it diplomacy.
