Inquiry: adding Alien Missions?

is it currently possible to add in custom Alien Missions?

what i'm looking to accomplish:

i like the current Missions but they aren't customizable enough for my liking so i will be adding some in to make up for it.

I tried that a while ago.... actually quite a LONG while ago back in v12. It didn't work then, but it was over a year... no.. a year and a half? (I think). Give it a go!
