SteelSoldier Posted August 14, 2013 Share Posted August 14, 2013 I dont know what happened, 2 of my soldiers died in a base defense mission, and then they appeared in my dropship, in the inventory screen it showed that the ship had 8 slots left for soldiers, but they were still there and I couldnt select them in any of the screens. Waladil Posted August 14, 2013 Share Posted August 14, 2013 You got lucky (well, sorta) -- there's a feature where soldiers have a chance to not die if they get killed in combat. That actually is a feature, not a bug, and it's caused/enhanced by having a medical bay. However... I do recall seeing some bug reports about base defending soldiers disappearing after they'd healed up to 50%. Play a bit more then update this, eh? (If you need the Chinook space then just buy another and decommission your current one. Sure it's kinda expensive but it should work at least.)
