xcom
In ground combat if you choose a rifleman and his rifle is at burst mode and you choose another soldier from another class then return to the rifleman, the game will set his rifle to one-shot. Borsek
Yes, the game remembers the last setting, similar to selecting a heavy weapons guy and then a rifleman - rifle is in burst mode. Seems to me it's a global variable and not a soldier-specific one. Probably working as intended, or at least as coded. I'm all for making it soldier specific though... but compared to other extremely game breaking bugs I think this can wait
silencer
Same thing goes for aiming time - if you set a rifleman to take aimed shot (40 AP) and select another one and aim - he will also try to use 40 AP. In Jagged Alliance every shot made reset on the AP count. Honestly don't know which solution is better.
Gauddlike
Chris has said that he agrees with soldiers remembering their own fire mode rather than following the previously selected one. It is not yet in (as you noticed) but hopefully once the new UI is sorted he will have more time for these nice features that make the game more fun to play. Gauddlike
There will be a lot of feedback once that UI is live, good time to mention any remaining problem then and maybe get some good ideas into the game.
