Sound in Hidden Movement phase is too loud.

I just bought the Desura Beta version of Xenonauts a couple of days ago and I am having some irrtating problems with the sound. I just wanted to know if anyone else was experiencing much louder sounds(and I mean ear-shattering) while in the Hidden Movement phase.

Alien weapons firing, people screaming etc., it´s all much louder than when my team is walking around and firing their weapons. I have lowered the volume slider below the music slider(I forget what it´s called atm) and it only seems to lower the volume of everything EXCEPT the alien movement/firing etc. :confused:

Can confirm that this is still happening.

The bug only appears to be related with Sound Effects

So far the SFX have been;

Shooting

Opening/closing doors

Footsteps

Civilian damage/death

On my game the effects are intermittent and often have short loud periods in fractions of the hidden movement.

Yeah that's what its doing for me. Its easy to reproduce just turn the volumes down on the options menu and up your speakers a bit. It seems to be all sounds played when hidden movement is up ignores the volume settings.

Is it supposed to be using a 3d sound engine to do volume falloffs or something that's not accounting for the master volumes?
