Martouf82 Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Something is completely off with the grenade launcher hit chance. I'm comfortable to shoot a grenade with 60% accurracy while another unit is just 2 spaces away from the target. It hits the target more often than a sniper shot with >80% chance. It can shoot without a visual over a building at very large range and still hit accurate. It either hits the exact right square a mile away, or the shell drops from the barrel to hit my crouching sniper in front of him, and there is like nothing in between. There should be a penalty for not seeing target There should be a distance and direction of a miss like 1-5 squares away from targeted square. Now its either exactly correct or miles away. The % to hit is often crazy, the target is across a building, no visual, shooting with a huge arc in the air, yet targeting a object gives me 50% chance to hit and the unit behind it 15% Ofcourse its fair that target behind the object has lower chance, because you have more chance to hit the object he is hiding behind, but that is not what happens, with 15% your grenadeshot goes miles away in a different direction. Grenade chance and mechanics are too much extrapolated from how guns work. 1 Quote
Martouf82 Posted Friday at 07:58 PM Author Posted Friday at 07:58 PM Looking back at my post here, this might have been a angry rant after losing 2 games on one evening because a grenade shell just rolled out of the barrel on my allies Still the percentages feel misleading. Quote
