jrobinson3k1 Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 From what I can tell, they're just labeling and don't actually have an effect. Quote

jrobinson3k1 Posted June 8, 2013 Author Posted June 8, 2013 Does setting a role by chance affect the stats that increase after each mission? Quote
Dranak Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Does setting a role by chance affect the stats that increase after each mission? Nope. They increased based on actions taken during the mission. Quote
thothkins Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 The roles provide a useful means of identifying what your soldiers are used for. It hasn't got a bearing on stat increases directly. However, as using the soldiers in certain ways will increase stats, there's an indirect link between roles and increases. As mentioned, it's useful for applying set equipment to soldiers, without having to do it form scratch. Quote
MisterLock Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Really i don't know what you guys are talking about...The thread title is about Solider roles not Soldiers... Quote
thothkins Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 there's an irony in the soldier roles not actually very good being solidery as they are subjective and prone to change. Quote
Gumballthechewy Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Solider roles are just for quickly setting up and equipping your soldiers as far as I can tell. Quote
svidangel Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Unless you are talking about Soldier Rolls, in which case those are only on the Reaper Sushi Menu. Quote
