fusion-waffle Posted March 31 Posted March 31 (edited) Description minor visual glitch - wreckage of blue column light decorations in cleaner base command room - z fighting issue What Happened When a blue column light decoration in the cleaner base command room was destroyed, leaving wreckage, the wreckage flickered between grey & blue when the camera was panned. Some kind of z-fighting issue? (multiple materials assigned to the wreckage?) Apologies, no screenshot / f11 zip for this one - playing ironman & the mission ended before i thought to capture it. Is it the debris from the teleporter or the lab equipment? its in the same room as the teleporter, but it is some of the lab equipment the cylindrical shaped blue light things: from memory, it looks very loosely like that ^^, but more cold-war / sci-fi / alien-chic. the issue was with the wreckage, not the intact prop. it's only partly blue, there are also grey metal bits. There's also only a single material assigned to the specific debris so the usual suspect is not guilty this time. If you've got the time for it, I've attached a save on this reply for the cleaner base mission. Can you try loading it and and destroy the asset so I can see how the z-fighting is happening? I took a look -- the blue column light decorations I saw an issue with are NOT present in that version of the cleaner base in the save you shared. Are there variants of this cleaner base map? The blue column light where I saw the issue is (IIRC) a standalone 1 tile decoration, that appeared in the teleporter room. Apologies if I've sent you on a wild goose chase without a clear screenshot Quote

Well I did fix some destruction issues with it so it helped out in the end It's this one no? EDIT: I've made a fix for it but it will be included on the first post release patch after 1.0 (along with a whole bunch of other asset fixes.) We're just making sure not to rock the boat too much before release! 1 Quote
